Gingerstar gazed at Tigerspot. "You killed Foreststar?" He gasped.
The drenched tom dipped his head. "Of course," he meowed. "He would've killed you."
His father slitted his eyes. "You know better than this."
"You're mad?"
Gingerstar flicked his tail angrily. "Yes! He was my father!"
Tigerspot opened his mouth, but Gingerstar walked back to the camp. He's not trustworthy.
He leapt up onto the Apple Tree, glaring down to see if Tigerspot had followed him. The tabby tom was coming, just slowly.
Gingerstar lifted his tail. "Are you sure you can stay in?" He challenged his son.
Tigerspot bristled. "Never," he hissed. "I am staying in your group. We must kill ForestClan. I saw Beewhisker trespass onto our territory."
Gingerstar flicked his ears back. Would he risk his campmates' lives again against these tree-climbers?
Tigerspot leapt next to his father. "I'll tell you this," he whispered. "I'm giving you until the full moon to decide. If you don't fight, I'll kill all your kin."
My kin! What was Tigerspot thinking? Gingerstar hissed. "Never," he snarled. "I will warn all the Clans when we meet at White Stone."
