"Clan cats must leave," Stoneteller meowed.
Gingerstar flicked his tail around Bluespot when she started crying. The Clan cats would have to leave right now.
Bristling Lion sat next to Stoneteller. "Leave now," he growled at the four Clan cats.
The cats from the Clans walked down the mountain, tails drooping. Gingerstar's ears perked up with he smelt mouse. "We can at least hunt," he muttered.
Snoweyes nodded. "I'm glad StreamClan got to learn how to hunt mice!"
"Let's find a home first," Bluespot meowed.
"Why don't we go back to the Clans?" Treefur pointed out. "We can travel there."
Gingerstar turned to him. "We can make our own Clan. Besides, TigerClan doesn't need us." He spotted a HUGE bush of leaves. "We could dig there."
When the cats got there, they started digging. Gingerstar grabbed a burr in his teeth and he flinged it away. He clawed leaves off of the bush, creating a tunnel.
"Can I go in it?" Bluespot asked. When Gingerstar nodded, she dove into it and started digging.
Gingerstar watched the gray she-cat create a clearing. She made dens.
"Wow!" Snoweyes bounded in the bush when Bluespot was done. She looked around. "This is awesome!"
Gingerstar let Treefur go in, and he followed him.
The bush had six dens, one for each role. Bluespot was pushing sticks and leaves in the corner of a den. The den was the warriors.
Gingerstar went inside the smallest den. Thorns poked out from the roof. He flattened his fur all the way. I hate this den right now.
The ginger tom gathered leaves into a pile. Gingerstar lay on it. He soon fell to sleep.
"Gingerstar?"
Gingerstar opened his eyes. He was back in the forest. Brick and Moth were watching their kits playfight.
That's cute. But when Gingerstar stepped up, three coyotes appeared and leapt at the kits. Mistykit, Sparkkit and Bramblekit squealed with shock and ran away. Brick and Moth yowled and ran the other direction. Gingerstar felt the ground start to split open. He gasped when water flowed from the cracks.
Rain started to pour down. Everything turned dark. Gingerstar twitched his whiskers. In the shadows he could make out Feathereyes.
He started to walk over to her, but when he got close, Feathereyes turned to him, blood running down her cheeks. She was supposed to be crying, but blood replaced her tears. Feathereyes put her paws up to reveal her two kits.
Oh no... Gingerstar could tell that they were dead. He backed away, but he only got sucked into the water.
The ginger tom splashed around. He struggled to get to the surface. When Gingerstar managed to get to the dry land, claws pierced his pelt. He scowled with pain. Gingerstar went limp and fell into the water.
"GASP!"
Gingerstar woke up, struggling to breath. He spat out a ton of water. His head felt warm.
"Gingerstar?" Bluespot padded into his den. She gasped when she spotted the leader like that. "What happened?"
The ginger tom groaned. "I'll be fine...go hunt with Snoweyes."
Bluespot nodded and walked out of the den.
Gingerstar got up to his paws. He trotted out into the clearing.
Treefur was chasing a grasshopper, tail flicking. Bluespot and Snowfur were leaving the camp.
