DROMUND KAAS - Temple Ruins
An Imperial troop's body drops in front of the steps of the temple, Kaeiden having slayed the trooper, enraged by his own frustrations. Once inside, the Sith Lord looks around, throwing his hood down, he notices a room seemingly calling out to him. He approaches the room, using the force to push the doors open as he storms in. Kaeiden examines the room, finding it a good place to set himself down, folding his legs and beginning to meditate.
He heard echoes of Kira's voice. "BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT YOU!"
His hand twitches, hearing her voice again. That woman...It had been years since he'd last seen her, so why did she still haunt his thoughts? No matter what he tried, he simply could not escape the memory of her. He didn't know if she was even still alive. That fact shouldn't have bothered him, but somehow, it did. "...you don't have to live like this anymore..." He heard her say. Why couldn't he get her out of his head? Why wouldn't she leave him alone?
He slowly opens his eyes, noticing something had changed about the room, he was back on the platform, face to face with Kira herself. He picks himself off the floor and locks eyes with her. The Sith Lord wasn't quite strong enough to pull himself away from the alluring blue of her eyes.
He remembers her short hair, the way she looked during their duel outside Malgus' sanctum. She looks into his eyes, stepping closer. "Kaeiden...come with me..."
He was speechless.
She grabs his hand and holds it to her chest. "Please...leave this life of fear...anger...despair..." She leans in and whispers into his ear. "For me..."
The dark lord looks down, gently holding her hand, he closes his eyes, clenching his other hand into a fist. The powerful and feared Lord Kaeiden made soft by a woman's touch? It was unimaginable. A fate he could not accept. He refused to be tamed by anyone, even her.
"For me..." Her voice echoes in his skull as the vision of her fades. Kira's words set off the dark lord, causing him to lash out with heavy saber cuts at nothing. How could she reduce him to this? A lovesick loner pining for an enemy? It was a humiliating enough fate by itself only made worse by Kira's position as a Jedi Knight. To let the lightside touch his heart like that was simply unacceptable for a Sith Lord.
