Harrower Dreadnoughts hover over the atmosphere, blocking out the sky for the people below. "Forces are standing by, waiting for the signal, sir." Rhyso reports. "We will begin the assault on your command." Commander Rhyso stands by Kaeiden on the command deck of the lead Dreadnought.
"Excellent, Commander...Victory will soon be ours." Says Lord Kaeiden.
"With all due respect, My lord. Do you really think we'll be able to take over from this first attack point?" Asks Rhyso. "The Republic has military forces all over this world. I was stationed here often."
"Do you question my tactics, Commander?" Kaeiden asks.
"No, sir...I was just voicing my concerns..." Says Commander Rhyso.
"Begin the bombardment, immediately." Says Lord Kaeiden.
Rhyso turns to his troops. "BEGIN THE ATTACK!"
The Imperial Dreadnoughts open fire on the planet's surface, assaulting the city with heavy armaments and deploying assault fighters as dropships carry troops to the ground. Republic soldiers return their fire, returning the enemy's aggression to kick off the battle.
"Commander Rygorl. Have my ship prepared." Lord Kaeiden orders his subordinate.
"Right away, sir." The Commander waves his hand at two troopers, who run off.
Jace Malcom and his men arrive planetside, dropping into battle and exchanging blaster fire with the enemy. The experienced Commander leads the defensive line on the battlefront, fighting the Imperial ground troops back at a choke point and keeping the area strictly under Republic control.
