The Mall after the Sun

Decade just started
With burning passion
And lovers at the premiere theater
Like a love song without an outro

They would chant the spell
To not make everything fell
Careful decisions they tried to carry
Always leads them to endless misery

How many people would survive
How many lovers would stay
When the beautiful sky three years ago
Started to turn grey and hollow

The last movie playing in the theater
The darkest sky they painted after
Not knowing the world would be over
Ended with the last standing laughter

Now all that's left is the empty seats
And worn out clothes under the mattress
All the lovers that didn't make it out
Like a sad song waiting for an outro
