Today, abuelita insisted she took me shopping.

"Parking spot there" she screamed as we drove around the parking lot looking for a spot.

I went to turn into it before she yelled "nope, just a small car" she threw her arms up.

After about 5 minutes we found on and went inside the mall.

"What do you want xo" she pushed the cart as we went up and down isles.

"I might get some baby clothes, and I need to find a safe baseness" I muttered as I picked up a pack of footie pajamas.

"Oh that's nice" her accent roles off her tongue.

We got a crap ton of stuff, abuelita was telling me how she got papito to help her order these shirts that say 'I'm my tios favourite' and 'I got my looks off my abuelita and bisabuela".

When we got home we went to go set up the baseness and mobile we got.

"No, no sit. We'll get Elena to do it" Lydia snickered as she called Elena from her room.

Then she made Elena rebuild the entire baseness because she didn't realise she was sitting on one of the peices.

It went like that for a while but then mami got home and told abuelita off for acting like a child.

"How you been baby" she says, quickly looking over to my phone which I haven't touched at all today. Though I know it's been blowing up with messages from them both.

"I've been good, look what we got today" I open the draws filled to the brim of clothes.

"Oh wow, you know when I had you, I could never by cute clothes because you would always spit up on them" she shook her finger at me.

"No, no, no, no, no. She would always spit up on them because you would put her in those ugly clothes. But never in the ones I picked" abuelita said flexing her withered arms. I snorted at them and rolled at my eyes.

"Not true" mami sneered jokingly "yes it is" abuelita poked.

"No"

"Yes"

"Yes"

God who needs to have a kid when you live these two.
