After the car ride we finally arrived to our new home which is right next to Miles place,I'm still trying to progress everything that happened in the car

Then I feel a hand on my face
"Are you done daydreaming? Annoying bi-" I push lizandro off the car before he can finish his sentence

"Fatherless behavior to be honest" I say as I get off the car, my aunt is already inside our place with mrs Morales

"Rude" he walks off with lily leaving me and miles outside, he walks past me then stops and turns to look at me

"you coming?" He asks, "yeah I am" I start walking towards him, he starts walking with me as we enter the house

Miles P.O.V

I walk beside Maria, I don't know why I'm being so soft towards her there's just something about her that makes me feel some sort of way

I can't feel this way about her I just met her I mean we knew each other when we were little but that doesn't mean anything, right? Fuck I can't allow myself to get soft

"Mijo? Estás bien? " I feel my mom's hand on my shoulder I quickly get out of thoughts

"Oh sorry mami I was thinking about something" I give her a smile

"Te gusta ella, don't you? "She asks with a smile, I feel my face heat up and I glance over to Maria who's arguing with Lizandro if that's his name, we make eye contact for a while and she gives me a awkward smile before lizandro takes her phone and she starts chasing him

" I'm guessing that's a yes"I hear my mom says "Mami I don't-" she chuckles and pats my back

"That's what your dad said about me" her expression saddens but she hides it with a smile "I'm going to go with Clarissa now mijo" she says as she walks off

I get a text from uncle Aaron, another mission great

Maria P.O.V

After chasing lizandro I finally get my phone back, I walk back to the living room and noticed miles on his phone I walk up to him

"Hey whatchu doin? " I asks with a smile, why am I acting like this do I like him? Probably

Miles gets off his phone and his expression softens "texting my uncle about our job"he says with that smile that just makes my heart flutter

"Oh that's cool" fuck I feel so weird and nervous right now, I can feel my face heat up as we talk to each other

"What's your phone number so I can text you? " miles asks

all of sudden I forget my phone number, oh god why am I acting like this

"Um it's 720..." I try to remember the rest but I just pull out my phone and I look at my number and tell him the rest as he puts it down,"I'll text you later, I gotta go see you later ma" he says with a smirk as be walks out
