Michael- The Punished
It didn't take long for backup to arrive to the scene. Soon, the crime scene was marked with caution tape, and forensic experts and photographers began their work. To my surprise, David Moon showed up to the crime scene. As the four of us talked about our thoughts on the recent crime, one of the experts came to us, who handed a note. The four of us looked at it, and were shocked to learn that the killer admitted that the human remains belonged to Dr. Melissa Collins:
Hello, fellow agents. They call me The Shadow, because of how easy it is for me to blend in with the darkness. I'm sure your heads are spinning with countless questions and I'm sure you found the remains that are scattered on this land. Here is the resting place of the beloved Dr. Melissa Collins. I'm sure your minds have already come up with a list of suspects, a list of possible motives. Since you all have been so willing to play my little game, here's a piece of confirmed information, just for you:
The murders are all connected to a crime that was committed four years ago, a crime that was the basis of revenge. Over time, the scent of blackened roses can make my longing so sweet. Now that I have given you a clue, here's a little message for you: The killings will not stop until all have been silenced and until he has been punished for a crime that you have failed to find him guilty for. I look forward to your next move.
"So, it is true then." Darian said, more to himself. "It is all connected." David called the people at the scene together.
"It has been confirmed that the murders of Bailey Hart, Frank Danielson and now, Dr. Melissa Collins are all connected to a case that was closed four years ago." He said. "I am now giving a mandate for a larger team to investigate, and for the headquarters in Brooklyn to provide some assistance." His eyes, cold and suspecting landed on me.
"No matter what it takes," He said. "We will find the truth. And we will not stop until this monster is behind bars... or five feet under."
