As the climate suddenly transcended, the hot air was now frigid, blowing at them mercilessly. The pack trudged on as the white substance smacked their faces, making it hard to see. Aqua struggled to keep up. Her powers weakened in the cold; clearly her body temperature was dropping rapidly but she refused to give up. She knew she had to stay with her companions to survive. The desert they once roamed confidently, was now a frozen wasteland.

The never-ending snowfall buried their tracks, making it impossible to retrace their steps. It reached halfway up their legs, slowing them down. It felt like time turned into an eternity as exhaustion crept in. Lost and disoriented, they carried on, not knowing where they were going.
The vast white landscape stretched infinitely in all directions, a frozen abyss that seemed to have no end.

The wind howled, biting and mocking their futile attempts to find shelter, their hope began to dwindle. Aqua's strength was fading fast, her body shaking uncontrollably from the cold, knowing she couldn't keep this up much longer. Amidst the relentless snowstorm, a deafening rumble suddenly pierced through the air. The once desolate landscape was illuminated by a blinding light that painted the world in an otherworldly glow, only to be swallowed by darkness.

Shard-like ice hailed down from above, sending the group into a frenzy of evasion. In the chaotic whirl of snow and wind, Sparrow's heart constricted with dread as he realized Aqua was missing. His eyes darted frantically, seeking her familiar form amidst the blizzard. And there, a glimpse of her struggling silhouette caught his gaze. Slightly buried under a mound of snow, her strength faltering against the cold embrace of winter.

A surge of agitation and intentness coursed through him as he fought his way towards her, the howling winds drowning out his panicked whispers. Sparrow finally found her, and her face was barely visible amidst the freezing landscape. With trembling paws, he dug through the snow, brushing against her cold body. "Aqua!," he called out, his voice was barely heard against the gale.

As he looked up towards the sky, another loud rumble occurred, releasing another round of sharp shards that threatened to engulf them. "Oh no", he whispered, a sense of impending doom washing over him. His wings couldn't shield them from it, so he used his body in attempt to keep her safe. He closed his eyes, waiting for a hard impale. But, nothing came.

Confused, his eyes fluttered before opening. As his vision cleared. He realized he was still alive. To his astonishment, Aqua had shielded him from the falling snow and sharp shards, risking her own safety to protect him. The storm continued its relentless assault, burying them under layers of snow after ripping through with its sharp divide. Aqua's body fell to the ground, barely conscious as she whispered his name. Unfurling his wings, he enveloped her in a warm embrace, sheltering her the best he could.

Heavy steps hit the snow as panting filled the crisp air. A group of wolves made their way back to their pack after a long day of hunting, their breath creating small clouds in the frigid atmosphere. They approached the pack's territory, and one wolf stepped forward as its gaze fixed on someone.

"Alpha, we have encountered another pack in our territory," its voice was imbued with urgency and curiosity. "Among them, there are two distinctive wolves. One of them seems to possess a cosmic aura, while the other bears the mark of the Shadow clan." The Alpha remained silent, its piercing eyes fixed on the messenger, then spoke with a commanding tone, "Bring them to me. I want to see these wolves with my own eyes."

"Yes, my Alpha. Right away," the messenger replied, bowing respectfully before turning to carry out the order. But before he could leave, the Alpha's voice called him back. "Wait. Describe to me the appearance of the other distinctive wolf." The messenger paused for a moment, recalling the wolf's features. "He was black with golden eyes," he answered cautiously.

"Hmm... very well. Off you go now," the Alpha commanded, a deep voice filled with intrigue. With purposeful strides, the members of the pack dispersed into the night, searching to bring the newfound wolves to their Alpha. "Looks like we finally meet again," a small smile formed.
The winds whispered a name that carried with tales of a past long forgotten, "Ozul."
