Yuna finds herself thrusted into a task that carries the weight of the entire world on her shoulders as she sets out to acquire the elemental orbs of Fire, Air, Water, and Earth-the very lifeblood of existence. She ventures into the unknown, her pat...
In the aftermath of the furious storm, the rest of the pack found themselves confined in a small, rocky crevice, their fur brushing against each other's in the cramped space. Yuna took charge, urging Tor to move the hefty rock blocking their exit. Flexing his strength, began to shove the colossal obstacle aside, the strain evident on his face in the dim light filtered through the narrow gaps.
After a strenuous effort, Tor successfully managed to create a pathway, allowing them to escape one by one. As Shadow made his way out, his imposing frame proved to be a hindrance in the tight space, slowing his progress. Yuna noticed his struggle and selflessly tried to help him. Regardless of his initial reluctance, she persisted, knowing that a helping paw would make all the difference.
With steady resolve, she steadily positioned herself behind Shadow and pushed with all her might. Their bodies briefly intertwined as they tumbled out, landing in a heap outside the crevice. Regaining his freedom, Shadow felt a rush of bewildering emotions at the unexpected intimacy with her. Shaking it off, he pushed away the event that had just unfolded.
"I told you I didn't need help," his deep voice almost growled at her. "If I hadn't helped, we would have been there for a great while," she replied, her voice tinged with a hint of sternness. Shadow grunted in response, acknowledging her point but still a little taken aback by her assertiveness.
Before she could continue, she noticed something was missing. "Where are Aqua and Sparrow?" her voice tinged in concern. "Weren't they behind us?" Shadow's head cocked to the side in confusion. Rosalie's eyes widened, worrying about her long-lost friend, Sparrow. "I could've sworn they were running with us," Tor said, his voice imbued with worry. "I wonder where they could be?" Sage furrowed his brow, deep in thought.
Their ears perked at the sound of distant footsteps, catching their attention. With hearts pounding, they stood still, listening intently as the sound grew louder and louder, until finally, figures emerged. Their eyes fixed on the group.

A pair of emerald green eyes held worry and relief as they watched over an unconscious form. Aqua gradually stirred, groaning softly as her eyelids struggled to open. "Ugh.... my head," her voice croaked, betraying her discomfort. She peered up and caught a gaze, momentarily confused. "Sparrow... is that you?" she murmured, uncertainty lacing her words. Sparrow's voice, tinged with concern, responded, "Yes, it's me. How are you feeling? Are you hurt?" Aqua mustered a weak smile. "Never been better," she replied, trying to downplay her suffering shifting her focus to the familiar figure beside her, finding solace in his presence. As her gaze roamed their icy surroundings, a wave of guilt washed over her.
"This is all my fault. If I hadn't lagged behind, we wouldn't be stuck here," she lamented, her voice heavy with self-blame. Sparrow shook his head gently, his reassurance cutting through her self-criticism. "It's not your fault. All of us were caught off guard by the sudden change in climate. You did your best keeping up, and I admire your will power." Aqua managed a faint smile, mirroring Sparrow's own. "Thanks, I guess," she said softly.
"Hm, If only we could find a way out. The snow has trapped us too deeply to dig our way out", she added, then their gaze shifted towards the ceiling as the snow flickered and collapsed, a stream of light poured through, revealing a group of wolves from their own pack and a new pack they had never seen before.
"Aqua! Sparrow!" Yuna's voice carried relief, as she rushed over to embrace her friends. "We were starting to get worried," Sage chimed in, concern etched on his face. "Yes, very!" Tor added, relief surged through him. "Glad to see you guys are safe," Rosalie said, her eyes softening with genuine care. Sparrow's eyes darted over to the unfamiliar wolves, curiosity mingling with caution.
"Who are these guys?" he queried, the tension palpable in his voice. "We are from the Sand Clan. My name is Ahadi, and these are comrades, Azir, Maya, Nile, and Nobu," the wolf introduced himself, his voice carrying a soothing tone. "I am Yuna, and these are my friends: Shadow, Aqua, Sparrow, Rosalie, Sage, and Tor," she responded, her voice filled with warmth and gratitude. "Our Alpha would like to greet you all. Please, follow us," Azir invited them.
As they made their way to the pack, each pair of eyes widened at the sight. This pack was substantially larger than any they had encountered before. There must have been at least two hundred wolves present, if not more. Each wolf had distinct markings, indicating their element and pack. Great paintings adorned the walls, each depicting stories and lessons passed down through generations.
The Sand Clan wolves, known for their healing abilities and captivating storytelling, were a sight to behold. Females possessed short tails, while the males boasted long ones. The pack greeted them with a resounding howl. Ahadi climbed the steps, his head bowed respectfully before someone unseen. "Alpha, they are here now," he announced, his voice carrying a both pride and reverence.
The figure before him rose, cloaked in mystery with the fabric draped artfully over its body and face. Shadow's keen instincts and familiarity with scents, allowed him to sense something more. When the Alpha finally unveiled its identity, a collective gasp tore through the air. Shadow was the only one who recognized her immediately, as memories flooded his mind.
"Hello there. And hello to you too, Ozul... we meet again," The she-wolf greeted. A wave of confusion washed over the pack, leaving them utterly bewildered. Who was this wolf talking to? "You know I don't like that name, Samira," Shadow's voice carried firmness and vulnerability. "That name is gone now. Shadow is the name I prefer, and it will remain that way," he asserted, leaving no room for further discussion.
"Very well. I understand. But come, give me a hug. It's been so long!" Samira beckoned, her eyes filled with longing and familiarity. Shadow succumbed to her request, letting her embrace him and feeling the undeniable connection of blood between them. Though their encounter was met with some tension, he couldn't deny the ties that bound him to her.
