Chapter 24: Happy Birthday

A few hours later Kinn slowly opened his eyes, he cringed at the light, his head felt light but physically he felt as if he was hit by a tank. He tried to move a bit when he realized, he was sleeping over Porsche hugging him tight. Kinn stared at the younger one's face everything came back to him slowly. The concert, the pain, the discomfort, the assassin, everything. He blushed furiously thinking about how he behaved in the hospital, aboard the helicopter, he regrets acting like that in front of his subordinates and Vegas, oh my God Vegas wouldn't let go so easily, he is going to tease him to death, the only thing he doesn't regret is his moments with Porsche.

The little guy is asleep with his neck resting at a weird angle, he is so exhausted from yesterday he didn't even bother to correct his head rest not to mention he didn't want to move lest Kinn wakes up. Kinn slowly adjusted him, sure enough as soon as Kinn moved Porsche's head he winced in pain even in his sleep. Kinn placed his hand below Porsche's neck and slowly rubbed his nape soon Porsche rolled over comfortably and this time he hugged Kinn spreading one arm over his waist and the other clutching Kinn's shirt, as he curled up and snuggled into Kinn's chest. Kinn smiled looking at his little protector, his phoenix and pulled him closer to his chest cuddling him breathing in Porsche's scent.

'Baby, you came to my life out of nowhere, you have turned my world upside down and changed me for good. You are my everything now, without Porsche there is no Kinn. Last night after the concert I planned to tell you how much I love you, confess to you but I guess I have to think about another perfect plan to propose to you. You know darling you deserve the very best.' Kinn whispered while adoring Porsche. He lovingly pulled up Porsche's chin towards him and continued speaking to the sleeping angel, 'You were ready to take a bullet for me last night, Po. God, did I save a country in my past life that I got to have you as my husband in this one. I really thank all the stars and universe who brought us together. Can't even think about what would I do without you, sweetheart. I promise you I will love you, take care of you and never let go.' Kinn swore to himself while caressing Porsche's cheeks.

Porsche started moving uncomfortably, wincing and groaning a little bit. He must be tired and sore from last night. Kinn pulled him closer in his arms and started patting his head. He laid Porsche's head on his chest and just like that they cuddled for a while. He slowly rolled over and placed Porsche in the pillow and gazed at him, his innocent face, forehead covered by his dishevelled hair, smooth skin, beautiful eyes, slightly rosy cheeks, sharp nose and those pink and fluffy lips.

Lost in admiring the beauty Kinn slowly lowered his lips towards the younger's,

'No, what the hell am I doing.'

Kinn moved his head away and released the breath he was holding. He head-slapped himself for almost loosing it.

'I would never kiss Po like this, never without his consent.'

Kinn closed his eyes and sniffed Porsche's hair and hugged him back. He never felt so much at peace as if them being together was meant to be. It was past eight when Kinn woke up and saw Porsche was still comfortably sleeping in his arms.

'Good morning love.' Kinn whispered and poked Porsche's nose. Porsche crinkled his nose in his sleep while making the sweetest little sound of disapproval and Kinn snorted looking at the cute little boy in his arms. He felt so happy.

'Porsche, my little baby Po. From today on I am going to pursue you till you fall for me just like I have fallen for you. I am going to sweep you off your feet Po and make you the happiest man alive. I will give you all the happiness you deserve love,' Kinn smiled.

He slowly placed Porsche on the pillow beside him, covered him with the quilt and stared at him a while longer and left for the washroom. Kinn was almost done when he heard the washroom door open.
