A week after the exam had been conducted the mail arrived. After an entire hour of deliberating whether or not you should open it you heard the doorbell ring. You opened the door to the apartment and saw Kiego. "The mail arrived", you said your hands shaking as they held the piece of paper that would decide your future. "Do you want me to open it or would you like to?", he asked calmly flashing his signature goofy smile.
You looked at the mail and started opening it. Suddenly, a hologram of All Might appeared. "Congratulations! You, Y/N L/N have been accepted into UA through the recommendations program by securing 2nd place. Your homeroom teacher, Mr. Aizawa along with other pro-hero teachers like myself are looking forward to guiding you to become a pro-hero. We recognize your potential and you should be proud of that. On that note, please submit your hero-costume by tomorrow so that it can be made before the semester starts. Congratulations once again and we'll see you next month!", All Might said enthusiastically.
"I made it!!!", you screamed as you jumped to hug Kiego.
"I'm so proud of you baby bird. God you're growing up to be just like your mom. I know for a fact that she's so proud of you." Kiego said smiling a single tear drop falling from his eye.
"Kiego don't cry! You're going to make me cry!!!", you exclaimed as you started to cry.
"Okay, okay I'll stop. Why don't we call Rumi and Hakamada to celebrate. We'll order cake!", he gushed.
"I'm going to go get ready in my room!", you replied happily.
You weren't lying. You were going to your room to go get ready. But before that you wanted to call Shoto. Just to ask him if he had gotten in. Of course he had, but it would be nice to know that both of you are on your way to pursue your dreams. You nervously pressed the call button but as soon as it began to ring, the call had been cut. I guess he wasn't ready to talk to you after all. In an effort to forget about it you went to go take a shower. Afterwards you put on a pair of dark blue flared jeans with a lavender colored sweater.
"Kiego I'm ready!", you shouted. "Okay, change of plans. We're going to Hakamada's place and Toshinori is coming as well!", Kiego shouted back. You searched your closet looking for a scarf since it was cold outside and you picked up the one Shoto had given to you on the day you left. It was crème colored with hues of brown as a flannel pattern. You also wore your brown boots and went into the living room.
"You look amazing. Let's go", Kiego cheered shaking the car keys in his hand. You get into the car and in a matter of minutes you reach Hakamada's place. Before you can even ring the bell, the door flies open and you are thrown into an aggressive hug from Rumi. "Y/N BABY I'M SO EXCITED!!! YOU'RE GROWING UP SO FAST THAT YOU MIGHT ALREADY HAVE A BOYFRIEND BY NEXT YEAR!!!", Rumi exclaimed as she started to fake cry.
"No boyfriends. Not till you're 40." Kiego stated sternly.
"C'mon let her live a little", Rumi retaliated.
"Absolutely not." Hakamada chimed in.
"Guys, can we please leave this topic and move onto the cake?!", you gushed.
"Oh yes!! I picked it out myself, I hope you like it Y/N!", Rumi cheered as she set it down on the clean white marble counter.
