5. Walk in the Park

"I'm sorry Shoto! I didn't mean to get you into trouble and lash out back there but when he started mocking our friendship I couldn't watch him insult you any further! I-"

"Y/N." He says firmly. "You didn't do anything wrong. In fact, I'm proud of you for standing up to that bastard." He adds as he pulls me into a hug. It's warm and comforting just like when we were kids and my mom had passed away. We both hug for a good 15 seconds and then hesitantly break away from the embrace. We then decide to take a walk in the park. 

It starts to get windy and I begin to shiver. "Come to my right side." Shoto says. I switch to his right side and he holds my hand for the third time today...but this time it's comforting. I can feel my body warming up and I gradually stop shivering. 

We stop at a nearby lake and sit on the bench. I rest my head on Shoto's shoulder and he rests his head on top of mine. He smells like peppermint. His right side continues to keep me warm as I start playing with his fingers. If I could freeze this moment in time, I would. We stay like this for another 15 minutes before my phone starts to buzz. I answer it and immediately a loud voice yells, "Y/N IF YOU DO NOT COME BACK TO TOSHINORI'S HOUSE THIS MOMENT I WILL HUNT SHOTO DOWN AND RIP HIM TO-" 

"ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! I'M COMING BACK! RELAX, I'M ALIVE!"

Shoto cracks a smile at the interaction between me and Kiego. So much for having a peaceful moment.  

"COME BACK RIGHT NOW AND BRING HIM WITH YOU! I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'VE BEEN DOING WITH THAT BOY BUT YOU CAN'T SEE HIM UNTIL WE STRAIGHTEN HIM OUT FIRST."

"THERE'S NO WAY THAT'S HAPPENING."

"I DON'T HEAR YOU WALKING"

"UGH!"

You cut the call and both of you start laughing. Shoto almost in tears. "Well are you prepared to be RiPpEd tO sHrEdS!" You exclaim mocking Kiego. Your both burst out into an even louder laughter. "Y/N stop! You're killing me!" Shoto yells as he continues laughing.

Eventually you both figure out a way to stop laughing and make your way to Toshinori's house. The moment you open the door, you are tackled to the ground by Kiego. "Ain't no way you were able to fly from Kyushu to here in such a short amount of time!" You exclaim. "Shoto." Kiego states firmly. "WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN-" 

"OKAY EVERY BODY LET'S CALM DOWN!" You shout trying to stop Kiego from murdering Shoto right then and there.

"Shoto take a seat on that bean bag. Kiego, Toshinori, sit on the sofa and I'll sit between you two." You instruct.

Everyone listens obediently and follows your instructions. "All right, Shoto do you have anything to say before we begin?" You question. "I really like spending time with Y/N. She's an amazing person. Please don't kill me" Shoto mumbles. "Well that depends on your answers", Kiego replies with his eyes focused on Shoto like a hawk waiting to swoop in and kill its prey. "First question, what were you doing at your house with Y/N and was anyone else there?" Toshinori asks.

"Fuyumi was home the entire time. We trained, ate snacks, took a shower and then went for a walk in the park before Hawks had called us." He replied.

"YOU TOOK A SHOWER WITH Y/N AND HAD THE AUDA-"

"KIEGO! WE TOOK TURNS! OH MY GOD!" You yell as both you and Shoto's face turns a violent red.

"OH. ANYWAY...What intentions do you have with Y/N." Kiego asks.

"Well I'd like to become close friends with her. Ever since she moved to Kyushu we haven't had the chance to talk much but I think that if we keep meeting, we can become close friends."
