Chapter 2 - Two Star Crossed Lovers...

Terzo grabbed Lili's hand, pulling her down a darkened hallway towards his lair. How had she gotten herself into this? She was about to hook up with someone she had just met, and a demon no less. She was breathless with anticipation wondering what was coming next.

He fumbled with the doorknob in his haste to open it quickly. He finally managed to get it open, pulling her inside. He shut the door behind him, turning to face her.

"Wait...what are you saying?" She looked at him with furrowed brow.

He looked at her with alarm. "Oh no, is the thought of me killing someone upsetting to you?"

"No silly...are you saying you love me? Like is this some crazy cosmic coming together?" She said softly smiling at him.

He bit his bottom lip, stifling a laugh. He looked over at her. "You caught that didn't you? I feel like I've known you forever Lili. Maybe we were lovers in a past life and we've found each other again. I don't know what it is, but yeah, I think I do." He ran his fingers through her hair. She stifled a yawn.

"I'm sorry. It's been a long day." She said, snuggling into his armpit. He wrapped his arms around her, kissing her forehead. "I do love you Lilith." He said, lifting her chin. "Let's get some sleep. We'll talk more in the morning."

She closed her eyes, content. She would figure her life out tomorrow.
