20; Prove It

"I don't know them, officer."

"Then that just proves it." The police sighed, scribbling on a random piece of paper while Taehyun's face scrunched up in confusion.

He turned to look in front of him, seeing 4 different boys who had extremely different faces. But they were so unfamiliar. He didn't understand what was happening and why his boyfriend was suddenly arrested for apparently 'harming him with his ability'. But Taehyun doesn't remember being hit or anything by Seo-jun. He needed so many answers. Nevertheless, he knew he should stay calm in this situation.

The only thing that was strange was that he and Seo-jun fought a few days ago. Just that he didn't know the cause and what they were fighting about.

"That's all." The male officer broke the awkward silence between all of them, as well as standing up to leave the interrogation room. "You guys are free to go. We will deal with... the perpetrator now."

Taehyun took one last glance at the other 4 men and left the room as well after the police officer. Just as he took a few steps outside, one of the boys called for his name.

"Do you really not remember any of us? No single clue... no single memory?" An american looking boy asked him.

Taehyun nodded in response. For sure, he was quite mad at the 4 unknown men that stood before him. He didn't know what was happening and the reason why his boyfriend was arrested. He didn't know who they were, and why they kept asking if he 'remembers' them. Who were they to be exact? He has never seen them before... well, to Taehyun.

"No, I don't. I don't even know what is happening right now." He said, being extremely careful with his words. He knew being openly mad will cause a ruckus and it's just stupid.

The man that spoke sighed disappointedly. He looked sad. Actually, all of them were. Taehyun's eyes skimmed through all of them and landed on the boy at the very right. He was the only one who didn't look directly at him, but moreover just stared at the floor with an unreadable expression. He couldn't see his face properly though.

"Seo-jun... he isn't as good as he seems. I know he's your boyfriend, but all he did was cause harm onto our friendship. That's the case, and which is why we keep asking the same questions over and over again. Seo-jun had his ability that made you lose all the memories you have of all of us."

Taehyun just stood there silently. He didn't know if he could believe them because obviously, he doesn't know anything about them. It may be true, but if he believes them easily, he might get tricked.

To what, you may ask? Well, anything in particular. Anyone could be dangerous, especially that they are living in a world where people are born with abilities.

"I don't believe you."

"Well we can prove it to you!" The boy replied immediately.

Taehyun heaved a sigh and just nodded. "Go on then."

"Look," The boy who Taehyun now knows, named Huening Kai showed him an entire album of their photos in his phone gallery. There were more than a hundred, and he was quite fascinated at how many pictures there were. However... he doesn't remember taking any of them or the context behind some silly photos.

Well they told him he lost his memories about them because of his boyfriend. He used his ability on him, which of course Taehyun still doesn't believe. But he could see the 4 other boys were trying their best to prove it to him.
