The Lion King: The Three Rulers

       After their royal duties, Kion and Rani returned to the tree for some down time. However, they were instead greeted by Baliyo.

Baliyo: "Kion! Rani! There you two are! Did you finish with your royal duties for the day?", he asked

RANI: "Yup. Now I was hoping to spend some time with Kion, while we are not busy at the moment", she said as she gave Kion a playful look to which Kion blushed.

Baliyo: "Well, there is something you two should know though...", he stated.

KION: "What's that Baliyo?", Kion asked.

Baliyo: "Well, its just that we have some visitors...", he stated a bit cryptically.

RANI: "Visitors? Baliyo, we weren't expecting anyone.", she replied in a bit of confusion turning to look at Kion.

KION: "Who?", Kion asked sharing the same confusion his mate held.

       As if on cue, Tiifu and Zuri walked out of the tree and met the group.

TIIFU: "Hi Kion! Hi Rani!", she said happily as she spoke to the shocked rulers.

ZURI: "Tiifu! Remember they are royalty! We need to bow!", she scolded her friend.

TIIFU: "Of course, my bad King Kion and Queen Rani", she admited as she and Zuri bowed in respect of the rulers in front of them.

       After a few seconds the shock wore off and Kion spoke first.

KION: "First of all, Tiifu and Zuri, Rani and I know you both, you don't need to bow to us. Second, why in the kings name are you here?!", he asked.

TIIFU: "Well, um, we wanted to... visit. We kind of missed you and your guard Kion", she lied.

KION: "Ok... But you came all the way here just for a visit? You were just here not too long ago!", he stated not believing her story entirely.

TIIFU: "Well, uh... It is pretty nice here, we thought we could relax too for a bit, we have had some stress recently...", she lied again as she nudged Zuri hard in the shoulder.

ZURI: "Uh, oh, yeah. So much stress with, uhhhh, helping Kiara", she lied while also glaring in annoyance at Tiifu and rubbing her shoulder.

RANI: "Ok..." said Rani also not totally believing her story, "Does Simba, Nala, Kovu or Kiara know you are here?"

ZURI: "Well, we kind of left unannounced...", she said under her breath before putting her paw to her muzzle.

KION: "You what?!!", he roared, "Tiifu! Zuri! Kiara is probably worried sick about you two right now. You need to be with your pride! You two must go back-"

TIIFU: "No!!!!!", she roared surprising everyone especially Kion and Rani.

       Tiifu realized her outburst and cleared her throat.

TIIFU: "Ahem, sorry, it's just we did have a long journey and uh well Baliyo did agree to show me around the Tree of Life tomorrow...", she stated.

       All eyes turned to Baliyo who looked nervous.

RANI: "Baliyo...", she inquired.

BALIYO: "Well, um, yeah. But that was before I knew you had left the Pride Lands without telling anyone."

       When Baliyo said this Kion noticed Tiifu look down in a sense of slight hurt, which raised his suspicion on why she really had come.
