His heart beat nervously fast, sweat fell from the edge of his forehead, and his gunshot wound on his shoulder was stinging again. The wound had healed miraculously fast over the weeks but it felt like it was reopening. He stood in the hallway staring at the rough face of the guy who shot him. Michael shouldn't be so afraid in this situation now that he's a bit more adept in using his powers, but the event of the traumatic night was coming back to him.

The goon gave a crooked smile at him and put his hand on Michael's shoulder

"Wag ka magalala brad, di kita bubugbugin. May kailangan lang ako sabihin sayo tara lakad tayo," he put his arm over Michael's shoulders and he urged him to walk down the hallway toward the GV stairs.

"Siguro naman hindi mo pa ako nakakalimutan, ang sakit pa rin ng ulo ko ah dahil sa ginawa mo," the goon said. The two of them looked like two regular students walking down the hall but Michael was feeling more and more nervous by the second.

"Hi-hindi kita nakalimutan," Michael tried to put on a straight face. "Ano bang- ano bang ginagawa mo rito?" The two of them reached the stairs and walked up slowly.

"Ah eto kasi, pinapasabi lang kasi ng boss ko na good job sa pagbugbog sa amin. Gusto niya lang malaman mo na, mag-iingat ka lang okay? Baka may mga ibang manggugulo sa inyo sa susunod." They reached the second floor and stopped.

A ton of questions were circling around Michael's mind as the goon spoke so calmly. How in the world he got out of prison and got into school without much suspicion was making him really shaken.

"Lalo na yung mga kaklase mo ha. Ikaw pa naman yung lalaki sa kanila, ingatan mo sila ha?" the goon pointed to a girl at the end of the hallway. Michael turned his head and saw Joy sitting alone on the floor infront of their classroom with her back turned from them. Seeing her over there, he began to get a hold of himself.

He thought, in a sense, he was a protector of the school. As the guy with the superpowers, he remembered he had the responsibility and he wasn't going to endanger his friends again.

His heartbeat began to steady and with a hardened expression, he turned his attention back to the goon.

"Akala mo pwede ka lang pumasok dito at takutin ako?" Michael said fiercely to the goon's surprise. "Kung wala lang akong takot sa Diyos, hinagis na kita sana papuntang field."

He inched closer to the guy. "Sabihin mo sa boss mo, wag niyang lalapitan ang mga kaibigan ko."

True enough, violence and harshness wasn't something Michael would advocate for but he was making sure the dude got the message: I love my friends and you better lay off before I Rainbow blast you to oblivion.

"Sorry Lord, medyo brutal," Michael thought.

The goon took a step back. "Oo na sige na brad, wala akong gagawin ngayon. Di mo kailangang magalit," he said in a sarcastic tone. "Hahaha. Sa susunod na lang tayo siguro magkikita."

The goon started down the stairs.

"Ay, puwede may itanong lang ako," he stopped after a few steps. "Ano nga pala pangalan ng babaeng dapat ililigtas ka?"

Michael knit his eyebrows. "Ha?"

"Yung isang kasama mo nung gabing yun, yung maganda. Wait lang. Ah diba si Alo-" he was cut short by a snap of Michael's fingers, the whole GV was frozen. The guy crossed the line and Michael was angry.

Michael pulled his bag in front of him and rummaged through his stuff.

"Aha," he pulled out his weapon from the past, the police's steel baton. Michael went down the stairs and wacked the guy hard on the head. He was frozen of course, but Michael was sure he'd feel the pain and get knocked out after he unfroze him. He then carried the guy down stairs and dropped him off at a cubicle in the comfort room.

"Sige, see you soon kuya," he went back up to the second floor then unfroze the building...

Michael approached his friend. "Joy kanina ka pa? Halika na, nandun na siguro sila Hera sa field,"

"Sige tara."

2 hours later...

Silent Sanctuary was, well, unexpectedly awesome. The whole of PLM was rocking out in the field like there was no tomorrow.

Joy, Sarah, Alora, Hera, and Michael were clumped together in the crowd jumping up and down with everyone else.

There were a couple of students who were partying a little too wildly behind them and almost toppled over Sarah. The guys were about to crash into Alora, but Michael froze the whole field for a second and jumped over to block them. He unfroze the field and he took the brunt of their roughhousing.

A firetruck even rained down water to shake up some fun. The night was amazing.

For those moments, Michael was actually able to forget all his worries about what lied ahead. Of course the future mattered, but this is college and he wasn't going to miss this season God was giving him.
It all went on till 9pm until they just couldn't party anymore.

"Lord! Thank you sa last night with my friends bago magpasko!" Michael shouted in the ruckus.
