Happy Happy Fun Time with Cece in HxH

Cece decided to go take the hunter exam because she didn't want to get an actual job. This was a disappointment because she would have actually been good at a real job because she was smart and had many marketable skills, but instead she decided to become a hunter which was a terrible idea. She was going to be the worst hunter ever. Not even joking. WORST. HUNTER. EVER.

Cece was walking to the boat where all the people who were going to take the hunter exam go to. Cece was a sixteen year old girl with an official blonde ponytail, but was more accurately described as groundhog, who wore a yellow shirt with a blue sun on it and blue jeans. "Wish me luck!" Cece called out to her sister Charlotte and friend Audrey. "Good luck, you're going to need a heck lot of it!" Audrey called out. "You're going to fail." Charlotte said. "Whatever suckers, I'm amazing!" Cece responded. Audrey and Charlotte just shrugged. Maybe if she kept telling herself that she might survive the hunter exam. Just kidding she was already dead meat.

Cece got on the boat and then started looking for some food to stuff her face because she loved eating. Unfortunately during the boat ride there was a storm. Cece threw up all over the place, but then she felt better. Lucky for Cece the examiners didn't see her throw up so they took Cece to see the captain with three other people. There was a boy Charlotte's age, some blonde kid that looked seriously intense, and some old guy who must have been like 37. The sad thing is that the old guy was a teenager. "What's your name, and why do you want to take the hunter exam?" The captain asked. "I'm Gon and I want to see my dad!" The boy said. "I'm Leorio, and I don't want to answer that question." The old guy said. "I'm Kurapika, and I don't want to answer too," Super crazy intense blonde kid said. "Well I'm Cece, and I don't want to have a real job." Cece said. "Well blonde boy and Leorio are not taking the hunter exam if they don't answer the second question." Captain said. "Fine, I want money." Leorio said. "I want to avenge my clan. The Kurta clan, they were all murdered by the Phantom Troupe." Kurapika said. "Oh snap, that's deep." Cece stated. She received many glares.

Then Leorio and Kurapika were fighting about something Cece wasn't paying any attention to because it didn't concern food. By the way Cece isn't fat. She has a very high metabolism. So beat it. Then they went outside where it was still storming and went to settle their fight. Cece and Gon followed them to stop the fight because that was a safety violation. "Hey you stupid kids stop fighting or I'll punch you're car!" Cece yelled. "Wut," They said in unison. Cece realized they didn't get the joke. She missed Charlotte. "You guys could get hurt!" Gon shouted over the storm. Like Christmas it was a miracle and they stopped fighting. Then some other stuff happened and they reached shore.

"Just to that tree up on the hill, and then you can go to the next part of the exam." The captain advised. "Hey Cece, do you want to join us?" Gon asked. "Okay, I'm sure you'll need my awesome skill somewhere on the exam." Cece replied in the most humble manner. "Actually, I'm not sure if you'll make any friends on your own so I think it would be best to stick with us." Gon clarified. Somewhere a great large thing began to crumble and fall, and then burst into flames. It was Cece's pride. So Cece joined them, because face it she had all the skills one didn't need for the hunter exam. Like being very literate, good at math, having healthy communication skills, being very funny, being a great actress, being an awesome cook, and all these other awesome things that could get her a steady job, but no she wanted to be a hunter! Cece was smart and had common sense. She just tended to ignore it.

They walked together until they came to a town. In the town there was this booth and this old lady and you've seen hunter x hunter you know what it looks like. They could only make their way to the tree if they answered the question correctly. "Your lover and your mother are going to die, but you can only save one. Which one do you save?" The old lady asked. Everyone went silent. Cece thought through the scenario in her head. Well if her lover didn't give her anything on Valentine's Day, mother definitely, but if her mother was old and about to die from some disease anyway, she would pick lover. This question was too vague for her liking. "You pass the answer was silence." The old lady said. Cece was dumbfounded. "Oh, that made sense." Cece said to herself. That question was still too vague though. So Cece and the others continued to the tree.

At the tree there was a house. They entered the house to see a women being attacked by a monster and a man lying on the floor wounded. The monster ran off with the women. "Gon, we'll go after the monster! Leorio treat the man's wounds. Cece do something to keep you occupied!" Kurapika ordered. Man he was so cool. He and Gon went out after the monster and Leorio started treating the man's wounds. Cece wasn't a big fan of blood, but she decided to comfort the man because she wanted to be helpful. "So, that big ugly thing ran off with your wife huh." Cece said to the man. "Ugh, yes it did." He groaned. "Well it sounds like you're having a pretty crappy day." Cece said. "You could say that." He moaned. Cece looked at him. Her comforting skills weren't working out very well. "Do you want some food? Food always makes me feel better?" Cece offered. "Cece, you're not being helpful." Leorio pointed out. "Dang," Cece grumbled as she crossed her arms.

She thought about the situation over again. It looked like the hunter exams so far was full of kind of sneaky test. The random ship check was unexpected. The old lady's question was a trick question. So there must be a trick in this part of the test too. Something wasn't quite right. This must be part of the test, but there is no way they would put these people in danger. The man and his wife, but she had those markings on her. That meant she couldn't be married. Wait, everything came together. "That lady is your sister, and the monsters are your parents because you guys are monsters too, and this is all part of the hunter exam!" Cece exclaimed. The man and Leorio stared at her. "Wait, so you're not stupid?" the man said. Cece's pride once again was blasted into smithereens. "Are you saying she's right?" Leorio confirmed. "Yeah, I thought we wouldn't be passing her, but I guess we were wrong." The man admitted "Guys, seriously I'm smart. I just don't always do smart things." Cece grumbled annoyed with the world.

Kurapika and Gon returned and they had come to a similar conclusion. "Yeah this girl totally surprised me. I thought she was an idiot, but she actually figured it out on her own." The man said. Gon and Kurapika were both just as surprised. The remainder of Cece's pride tried to buy life insurance, but was splattered by a 50 ton weight on the way there. It didn't look like it was going to make it out of this exam alive. The monsters gave them a ride to where the exam was going to be held. The four of them enter a restaurant. "Oh, I think I want...uh so many choices. Maybe I'll just get everything!" Cece said as she peaked at the menu. "Cece, we aren't here to buy food. The exam is this way." Kurapika said. Cece took a longing glance at the menu and followed. Living a life time of lazy better be worth it. They entered an elevator in the back of the restaurant. "Guys, we're finally about to start the exam! Are you ready?" Gon asked. "I'm prepared for anything." Kurapika said in that intense way he says things. "I sure hope so." Leorio said. "Aw heck naw! I'm going to die so badly it will still be hurting when I get to heaven!" Cece admitted. The three guys stared at her. "Well, then good luck." Gon replied quickly before avoiding eye contact.
