The next day she began talking with some people who worked as announcers and referees at Heaven's Arena. It sounded like Gon and Killua were going to be fine until the two hundredth floor. Apparently that is when things started getting intense. Cece wasn't exactly sure what they meant by that so she bought a ticket and saw one of the matches on the two hundredth floor. As she watched the fight she felt like she was missing something. The people fighting seemed to be using some kind of invisible force. It felt like there was an inside joke everyone got except her. She tried asking around about it, but it was hard too because she just sounded like an idiot trying to explain it.

She decided to continue this quest later when she actually knew how to describe what she was seeing. For the mean time Cece was going to meet up with Gon and Killua up for lunch. They met at some restaurant. "I have a question for you guys. Have you seen any fighters do something kind of weird? Like where they using some kind of invisible force or something like that." Cece asked not sure if that made any sense at all. Gon just gave her a blank stare, but Killua seemed to kind of understand her. "There was this kid I was fighting who was younger than us. He did this stance and I felt this weird sensation come over me. After words I was following him and his teacher was yelling at him. Apparently he wasn't supposed to use this thing called ren. Why did you ask? Did you have a similar experience?" Killua explained. "Well not quite. I went and watched one of the fights on the two hundredth floor. I heard that fights there were on a whole new level and they were. It was weird. The people fighting were using some kind of invisible force to fight with." Cece explained. Killua nodded and Gon tried to make sense of everything he was hearing. "What did the kid's teacher look like?" Cece asked. "He wore a pink shirt that wasn't tucked in all the way and large glasses. He also had messy black hair." Killua explained. "Thanks, I'm going to go talk to him later and try to find out what that was." Cece thanked Killua for his useful information and then went off to find that one guy.

Cece searched around for the guy Killua described. She was having a hard time finding him, but eventually she saw a man like Killua described walking with a kid younger than Gon and Killua. "Excuse me, are you that kid's teacher?" Cece asked as she met up with him. "Oh Zushi, yeah I am his teacher. Why did you see him fight in Heaven's Arena?" the man asked. "Well not quite, but I did hear about it. I was wondering if you could explain what ren is." Cece answered. "Well it is kind of hard to explain it here, but if you come to my dojo I can show you how it works." The teacher guy said. "Well okay, but if you try anything sneaky I will attack you." Cece warned

So Cece followed the man, whose name was Wing, to his dojo. "Aura is a person's life force. Nen is ability to use that life force for your advantage. Everyone has aura, but only a few people can use Nen. Ren is just one of the ways to use your aura. At my dojo I am teaching Zushi how to use Nen. Nen is normally invisible to the naked eye, but with a certain technique you can learn how to see it." Wing explained. "So the force the people were using on the two hundredth floor was Nen, and I couldn't see it because I haven't learned that technique." Cece summarized. "Yes, I'm impressed you were able to notice that. Most people can't sense Nen until they have learned how to use it." Wing noted. Cece's train of thought came to a screeching halt. She glanced up at Wing. "Seriously, people don't notice that they're missing out on something?" Cece inquired. It wasn't that hard to figure out there was something going on, but then again Cece did think she was better than the average person at most things so might as well be better at sensing Nen as well. "Would you like to take up some lessons on Nen with me? I'm sure it will help you with your self defense or whatever you were talking about earlier." Wing offered. "Sure, but there are some kids I know that probably need it a little more than me. You see they're actually fighting in Heaven's Arena. I am just an accountant, but as attractive as I am I can't be walking around defenseless." Cece answered. Wing just agreed and decided not to get into the 'attractive as I am' part as much as possible.

So Cece brought Killua and Gon to Wing's dojo. Wing explained to them what aura was and everything that he explained to Cece. "You three should learn Nen. It will be helpful for future events." Wing offered. Cece nodded her head. This Nen stuff was sounding pretty legit. "No, personally I don't see a reason for learning it." Killua shot wing down. Cece stood there in a little bit of shock. Wing had brought up several good reasons for learning Nen. It seemed like Killua did want to learn it just not from Wing. Cece would call this illogical and he just needed to swallow his pride and get over it, but the voice of common sense in Cece's head reminded her that she had done actions similar to this in the past so she couldn't judge. Killua strolled out of the dojo and Gon followed behind. "I think I will learn Nen. Can I come back tomorrow to test it out?" Cece whispered to Wing before leaving. It shouldn't bother them if she learned it in her free time. She had a lot of that during the day; it was just at night when she was working.

"That guy is so weird." Killua grumbled as they walked back to Heaven's Arena. "I don't think he's that bad." Gon admitted. "If we want to talk about real freak shows we should bring up Hisoka." Cece joked to lighten the mood. The two of them laughed and then there was an awkward silence. "Let's not bring up Hisoka anymore." Gon suggested. The three of them agreed. By the time they had made it back to Heaven's Arena it was time for Cece to start work. She got the numbers she needed and started adding them up. She sat on her bed adding up the numbers while thinking about what Wing said. With Nen she would be able to defend herself. Maybe once she learned it Gon would let her adventure on her own. Cece's pride took a second to register that thought. Cece (the sixteen year old) wanted permission from Gon (the twelve year old) to go on adventures by herself. Then a ninja of humility came out and karate kicked Cece's pride in the face. It was all slow motion with the dramatic music and everything. Cece sighed. Her pride was doing so well for so long, and then it came. "This is why I have low self esteem sometimes." Cece explained to herself even though there really was no point to that. Seriously, did some parts of her understand it and some parts of her did? It was like she was just talking for the sake of talking. Oh wait, she was just talking for the sake of talking.

Cece sighed and rolled over on her bed. She glanced over at her clipboard and calculator. She quickly changed her line of vision because she very much disliked math. That kind of sucked because she was good at it. "Ugh, why can't I do something fun?" She ranted. Once she got her hunter license she was supposed to travel the world (because that would be for free), get some cool cooking experience, and most of all be free as a bird to do all the useless stuff she liked to do. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Now she was being babysat by a couple twelve year olds, and she was doing math. Fan flippity tastic.
