The two bands were scheduled in a talk show setting, where they would be interviewed together, and play a song each at the end of the show. Maya had just finished getting mic'd up, when Tokio Hotel joined them. They were on in about 5 minutes. Maya smiled at them, a bit nervous. The interview would be on live TV, so she thought it was a bit scary. Oscar joined her side. "You okay? Nervous?" He asked in a whisper, smirking slightly. She knew he would make fun of her. She just shook her head at him. He didn't let it go.

"Don't worry Maya. Just don't talk about your weakness for guitarists with dreads and baggy clothing. Or emo looking lead singers with kind personalities!" He whispered. At least it was low enough that only her and Oscar could hear her. And Carlo, as she could see the corner of his smile slide into a smirk after Oscar's joke. "They're hotter than you anyway." Maya snapped back at Oscar. Her comment came out a bit louder, and the rest of the guys gave them a questionable look. Maya clenched her teeth and looked away from the two bands. Oscar was laughing, and Carlo tried to make him stay quiet.

Suddenly, a crew member appeared by the big curtain, settling everyone down, getting the teenagers ready to go out on stage. Oscar and Bill would walk out first. Maya and Tom second. That made Maya even more nervous. She made sure Tom would be closest to the camera when they walked out. Tom looked at her. Maya felt slightly irritated by these teenage boys at this point. "Cool jeans. I would have paired it with a crop top instead." Tom whispered to her. Maya felt angry, frustrated at this constant teasing from everyone. She felt it bubble inside her. "I'm sure you would look great in it." Maya said, maybe a bit more snappy than she wanted it to be.

However, Tom turned his head at her, a bit taken aback. He clearly didn't expect the witty comment, and was searching for a good comeback. Suddenly, the curtains opened, and the bands walked out. Maya smiled politely, and greeted the host. She was told to sit in one of the smaller sofas, with Carlo. She felt more comfortable, and Carlo gave her a reassuring smile.

The interview went by nicely. Tom, Oscar, Sigmund and Bill talked the most. Maya was just getting relaxed, when the host turned to her. "Alright! Enough boys talk! Maya, how is it to be the only girl in your band?" Maya smiled a bit plastic-like. She didn't need much time to think, this question was asked often. "It's actually a lot of fun. Oscar, Carlo and Sigmund are like my adopted brothers. They are my family. I guess it's less drama than with a girlband?" Maya said and smiled awkwardly. The host laughed, before continuing. "Oh Maya, you're so adorable! What about Tokio Hotel? Are they like your brothers as well?"

It was a trap. Maya knew it. She tried thinking of an appropriate answer, but the host cut in as she was taking too long. "Oh, you certainly don't seem sure! What Tokio Hotel member do you find the most attractive then?" The host pushed. Maya felt stunned. The boys got nothing like this asked of them... "Uhm... Well..." Maya said. Her panicked eyes must have shown the boys how stressed she was. Suddenly, Tom cut in. He and Bill were good with the media and interviews. Honestly, Maya found Tom's attitude quite cool and maybe even attractive. He knew what he was doing.

"Of course Maya finds me the most handsome. She can't be that different from other girls." He said confidently and grinned widely. The host laughed, along with the audience. Maya felt annoyed. She decided to burn him back with the backhanded comments. "Actually Tom, I would have chosen Georg. Bass players are a bit less clumsy with their instruments, you know..." She said with a cute smile.

The host laughed even louder, even the boys joined in. But Tom kept his cool. He just shaked his head and gave Maya a smirk. He wouldn't pull his gaze away from her, until Bill "accidentally" bumped him. The host asked her a few more questions that were simple to answer, thankfully. The interview went great, and so did the performance after. Maya felt quite tired afterwards.
