Gryffindor Common Room

"Another day, another drama," the boy mumbled to himself.

He slowly opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling of his dormitory. He was already tired, and that says something when he woke up 10 minutes ago.

"Mondays never go well." He followed his train of thought when he finally stood up and looked out of the small window next to his bed.

"How are they already up? It's too early."

Seeing students walking and chatting outside made him question his physique and ability to work hard. He did feel bad about himself for about two seconds, but that disappeared rather quickly. As always.

He slowly dragged his tired body towards a big closet and pulled out some of his clothes. His shirt, pants, tie, and robe. Dressing up like this was his worst nightmare, and doing it every day made him question his sanity.

"How can you be so slow?" said a familiar voice coming from his right side.

"Get out of here, Gareth; it's too early."

"I'm surprised you can even talk without your breakfast." Gareth laughed and stepped into the room. He sat down on one of the beds and looked around.

"Maybe staying up and reading all those books wasn't a good idea, don't you think, man?"

"How in the Merlin's name do you know about that? I thought you were asleep!"

"You really think I can fall asleep when someone is casting Lumos over and over again right next to my face?"

Without any answer, the boy finally puts on his robe, slowly walks down the small stairs, and enters the Gryffindor common room. Gareth, as a good friend, obviously follows.

"I do appreciate the thought, but you don't have to follow me everywhere, Weasley."

"Caelum, you're my precious friend. I would follow you anywhere." Gareth says holding his hands together and making a romantic face.

"Yeah...no. Stay away from me."

Gareth only laughs at his own joke and shakes his head. "Fine, fine; you don't want any affection, fine. Now go get some breakfast, Mr. Rose." He said and pushed Caelum closer to the exit.

Caelum only sighs and walks through the door hidden behind a portrait, stepping into a hallway.
