Kim's POV
I was getting ready for my lunch with Y/n, which was in a few hours. Khloe was here after I told her about it, and she seemed pretty excited.
"It's just lunch," I clarified when Khloe mentioned it being a date.
Khloe teased, "So he's taking you out on a date?"
I shook my head and replied, "No, it's just lunch. I'm not mingling until I'm officially single."
Curious, Khloe asked, "And when are you going to be 'officially single'?"
"To be honest, I don't know," I admitted. "I've spoken to my lawyer, but by the looks of it, I'll be a single woman before Christmas."
"A gift from Santa," Khloe joked.
"An early gift from Santa," I chuckled.
We laughed together, and I started searching for an outfit that would meet Y/n's casual standards. He had specifically told me to dress casually for our lunch.
"So, where are y'all going for 'lunch'?" Khloe asked teasingly, following me into my closet and sitting on the couch there.
"I don't know," I replied. "He told me it's not what I'm used to."
"Trying new things already, huh?" Khloe smirked.
"I'm really comfortable around him, so I trust him," I explained, continuing to search for the perfect outfit.
I now had everything planned out, and now I just had to wait until it was time for my makeup and getting dressed.

Y/n's POV
I was currently at Ryan's apartment, hanging out with my twin babies. These two were growing way too fast. Rye was already acting like the mean big sister, pulling on Rei's hair, and Rei was the quieter one who let it happen but would get upset sometimes and smack her, which led to both of them crying.
"I'm getting y'all's nursery done real soon, so you'll be able to visit me and sleep over more often," I told them, looking forward to spending more time with my kids.
"What's taking so long?" Ryan asked.
"It has to be perfect, just a few more details and I'm done," I replied, working on finalizing the nursery.
"I love 'em, but they cry too damn often," Ryan complained.
"Maybe they can come by this weekend, and you can get some time to relax," I suggested.
"You sure?" Ryan asked, concerned.
"Yeah, definitely. They're both our responsibility. I don't have a problem looking after my kids," I assured her.
Ryan teasingly asked, "Look at you all grown up. Who's the unlucky lady?"
I chuckled and replied, "Very funny, but I can't really say who it is right now. It'll probably be all over the news after this week."
"You sure you won't be too busy to be with the kids?" Ryan inquired.
"Nah, I'll use them as an excuse to go on a hiatus," I joked.
"Y/n!" Ryan gently pushed me, mindful of the sleeping Rei in my arms and Rye asleep between my outstretched legs on the plush blanket-covered carpet.
It was now 12:30 p.m., and I needed to get back home and get ready.
At home after showering and following my skincare routine, I picked an outfit and got dressed.
