Y/n's POV

"Everybody get up! It's Christmas!" I shouted, making my way around the house, holding the twins in my arms. They were still groggy from just waking up, not quite grasping the excitement yet.

"My presents first!" Blue exclaimed as she darted out of her room and down the stairs.

"Blue, stop running around the damn house," Mom reprimanded, clearly not pleased with her energetic antics.

Serves her right for zooming past me like that.

Descending the stairs, I joined Mom, Dad, and Ryan who were all still in their pajamas. Matching pajamas, as was the tradition.

"Can I open them, mama?" Blue asked, eager to dive into the pile of presents under the tree.

"Go ahead," Mom replied, granting her permission.

"Too many damn presents here," Dad chimed in with a chuckle, his voice carrying a mix of amusement and exasperation.

"There's seven of us here and another one coming soon, you ain't seen nothing yet," I responded, a hint of excitement in my voice, knowing that the holiday chaos was just beginning.

The twins gazed at the twinkling tree lights in awe. Rei reached out towards one of the presents while Rye remained captivated by the sparkling lights.

"Let me take one of them," Ryan offered, lifting Rye into her arms. Rye whined a bit at the interruption but soon calmed down as Ryan revealed a gift for her. Following suit, I handed Rei his present, a small smile gracing my lips as the holiday festivities began.

We spent the next few minutes opening gifts together, laughing at some of the crazy presents we received. My mom gifted me a collection of books on safe sex, finding amusement in the slightly awkward moment. She even recorded it, undoubtedly planning to share it on her social media later.

I knew I'd see that on her story sooner or later. Dad's gift was a mug that read "Best Dad," almost identical to the one Blue and I would give him every Father's Day.

"Do you like it?" Dad asked, his laughter punctuating his words.

"I'ma get you for this for real," I teased, playfully rolling my eyes.

After the flurry of gift-opening, we settled down to chat while waiting for breakfast. None of us were in the mood to cook, so we had a chef come in to prepare our meal.

I took the opportunity to teach Blue how to play the guitar I had gotten her. Meanwhile, Mom and Dad engaged in conversation with Ryan, and the twins, true to their quirky nature, had abandoned the toys to play with the gift boxes.

"Why are you so stiff?" I asked Blue, raising an eyebrow at her as she struggled to strum a chord.

"I'm sorry you're a horrible teacher," she retorted sarcastically.

"Nah, it's just you. Loosen up a bit. How can you be a dancer but so stiff with your hands?" I teased.

"That's it, I'm done with you. I'll have Dad get me a tutor or something," Blue replied, feigning exasperation.

"Ungrateful ass," I chuckled.

"Says you," she shot back.

"I'm not about to be walking around with your face on my chest," I quipped, referring to the custom t-shirt she had gifted me with her face printed on it.

"I'm Blue-Ivy Carter, you should be grateful," she joked.

"And I'm Y/n-Ivan Carter. What's the hype?" I countered.
