6 - Peer Pressure

You take your time relishing your invigorating shower, getting thoroughly cleaned up before drying off and changing into your lounge outfit for the day.

You slip on your house slippers and walk into your tiny kitchen to start making some tea on the stove. You don't have a huge appetite right now, so you'll probably just stick with making some toast on the side. Honestly, you're just relieved you didn't drink enough last night to give yourself a hangover.

You slide a couple pieces of bread into the toaster and lean against the kitchen counter, thinking a moment before reaching for your phone. You were just planning on checking your social media. You didn't expect to actually have a response already. But to your surprise, it looks like Todomatsu did respond!

'Oh, hello! (o'▽'o) it's no problem!
And yes, we're related. Although if you met us you wouldn't think so LOL
Anyway, he offered to let me give you his contact info if you want it?

Todomatsu's message oozes friendliness, and puts you at a sense of ease. You had no idea what to expect, but at least he seems like a nice enough guy. And.. is he really going to give you Karamatsu's number if you ask? For some reason your heart starts to beat fast again, and causes you to hesitate before you respond. Is this trepidation or.. excitement?

'Oh, it'd be great if you wouldn't mind giving me his info!
It'd probably be more convenient for messaging him than going through you first lol'

You smile and go to grab a plate for your toast. You're surprised Karamatsu was so willing to give you his contact info. You're honestly kind of excited to get a chance to talk with him again, even if it's just through text.

As you butter your toast your phone goes off again. Todomatsu already responded.

Just let me know if he ever starts to bug you though.

At the bottom of the message there's a number attached. Is that.. really Karamatsu's?

You quickly add the number to your contacts and attempt messaging it.

'Hello, I hope this is the right number.
Is this Karamatsu?
It's Y/N :)'

Even though it's a simple message, your heart is racing after typing it. You only went out for drinks with the guy one night, so you're not sure why you're getting yourself so worked up.

Little do you know, the moment your message reaches through to Karamatsu's phone, the Matsuno living room erupts into chatter once again.

Karamatsu goes all wide-eyed and awestruck when he sees your message.

"She actually messaged me!"

His siblings look equally awestruck.

"I can't believe it." mutters Todomatsu as he gazes down at the last message he sent you.

"There's gotta be something seriously wrong with her if she's interested in talking to you in any context.."

"Stop being jealous Ichi, it's a bad look on you."

"I'm not jealous!"

Karamatsu completely drowns out the banter of his brothers as he quickly goes to type a response back to you.

As he focuses on typing up the perfect nonchalant response, Osomatsu suddenly groans. When Karamatsu glances over to see the source of his woes, he sees his elder brother is looking at your profile picture on Todomatsu's phone.
