9 - Six Same Faces

These must be... his brothers? But seeing them all together like this in person totally discombobulates you. They really are identical twins. This.. feels like some weird dream. The silence of the room is worse than anything though, so you force yourself to step out from the hall and into the room to wave timidly at the bunch. "H-Hello. I'm Y/N." You bow. "It's nice to meet you. I hope I'm not intruding."

The silence lingers a moment longer before a light sounding cheerful voice welcomes you.

"Ah, hello, Y/N! We spoke earlier, remember?" the man smiles innocently and points to himself. You look him up and down. Judging by his style, he's definitely the Todomatsu you talked to earlier.

"Oh, uh.. Todomatsu, right?"

"That's me~" he pats the spot beside him on the couch. "Why don't you come get comfy and sit? You're our guest after all. No need to stand around all stiff and tense!"

You flush a bit in embarrassment but nod and walk over to him to take a seat. At least he isn't a complete stranger? "Sorry, I get kind of awkward being around so many new people. It's a bad habit of mine." You try to laugh off your own awkwardness but.. it doesn't work.

Nonetheless, Todomatsu gives you a sweet, reassuring smile, and gently pats your back. "You're fine! Don't worry at all. Most of my brothers are much worse off than you."

You flinch a bit in surprise at his touch before looking over at Karamatsu's other siblings, half of which appear to be giving Todomatsu a dirty look.

Todomatsu crosses his arms and rolls his eyes at his brothers. "Sooo.. are you guys going to introduce yourselves or what?" His tone is noticeably different when talking to his brothers versus talking to you. You'd almost think he was a different person.

The friendliest looking twin is the first to speak. He stands up from his spot at the kotatsu and comes over to offer you his hand to shake, and just ends up grabbing ahold of both of your hands. "Hello! Nice to meet you!" He shakes your hands so vigorously you worry they might fly off.

"I-It's nice to meet you too!"

He finally releases your hands, his own hands returning back into his baggy sweater sleeves. His grin still doesn't fade however. "I'm Jyushimatsu!"

While his behavior is a bit jarring, his smile is definitely contagious, as you find yourself smiling back at him despite the bizarre situation. "Jyushimatsu, that's a nice name."

Jyushimatsu practically beams. "Wahh, thank you!" He then laughs mischievously. "Big bro Karamatsu talked a lot about you last night!"

You blink in surprise and feel a blush of embarrassment spread over your face. Oh no, what could he have possibly said? "Uhh.. he did?"

Before Jyushimatsu can respond, someone clamps a hand over his mouth. "Ah-ah, that's enough Jyushimatsu. Let's not overwhelm our guest."

Jyushimatsu deflates but seems to submit to his brother's request.

This brother is dressed much more formal than Jyushimatsu. He's wearing a light green button-up collared shirt, and what looks to be dress pants. Even his hair is combed neatly. He looks pretty professional.

When you quit studying his outfit and look back up at his face, you notice he's smiling politely at you.

"Sorry about him. He can be a bit.. hyper sometimes." he extends his hand out to you. "It's nice to meet you though. I'm Choromatsu."

You gently take his hand and shake it. This handshake is definitely much more calm than the one from Jyushimatsu, although Choromatsu's hands are.. oddly hot and clammy. Like really hot and clammy.
