All the students stepped off the bus, and Soobin had to join his classmates. But he couldn't resist helping Mira with her bag, holding it alongside his own. The teacher laid down the rules for everyone to follow. Afterward, they headed to their hotel rooms for a quick rest before lunch. Soobin waited outside for Mira, who arrived with Sakura. Catching sight of Soobin, Sakura whispered, "Your boyfriend's waiting. Go on! I've got to find my crush too."
"Wait, your crush? What's going on? Do you like someone?" Soobin inquired.
"Yes, I do," Sakura admitted. "But let's talk about it later. Right now, go to your boyfriend."
Mira hurried cutely to Soobin's side, who was fondly awaiting her, a smile lighting up his face. As she approached, he enveloped her in a tight hug. Concerned, Mira murmured, "Is everything okay?"
"Yes, Mira. Why do you ask?" Soobin replied.
"I don't know. You seem different," Mira observed.
"Do I? Really?" Soobin feigned innocence.
"You're being overly protective," Mira noted.
"Was I not before?" Soobin countered.
"You were, but now it feels different. You're not hiding anything, are you?" Mira probed.
"No, I'm not. But promise me something," Soobin requested.
"What is it?" Mira inquired.
"We'll be separated for a while since the teachers divided us into groups. So, keep me updated on where you are. Is your phone charged?" Soobin asked.
"Yes, it is," Mira confirmed.
"Still, take this power bank," Soobin insisted, handing it over. Wide-eyed, Mira asked, "What's going on? What are you hiding, Oppa?"
"Mira, I'm not hiding anything. I just want to take care of you, something I couldn't do in our past. Let's go for lunch; everyone's already there," Soobin urged.
Mira grew suspicious of Soobin's recent behavior. Determined to uncover the truth, she decided to secretly keep an eye on him since he wasn't forthcoming. After lunch, each group held separate meetings. Mira felt the tension rising. Jae, noticing her distress, approached her.
"Are you okay? Is something bothering you?" Jae inquired.
"Jae, is the group work really necessary? If not, I'll go rest in my room," Mira lied.
"Are you feeling unwell?" Jae asked, concerned.
"Yes," Mira affirmed. "Thanks, I'll go rest now."
Jae, understanding, assured her, "Don't worry; I'll handle things here."
Grateful, Mira hurried off to her room. Jae then approached the group leader to discuss Mira's situation, catching Sakura's attention in the process. After their conversation, Jae approached Sakura.
"Can we talk?" Sakura asked.
"Of course. What's on your mind?" Jae inquired.
"Jae...I...how do I say this? My face is burning with embarrassment," Sakura stammered nervously.
"If you consider me a friend, there's no need to be shy," Jae encouraged.
"Jae, I have a crush on you," Sakura confessed quickly before darting away, leaving Jae bewildered.
Jae stood in disbelief, unable to find his voice. Rushing to the washroom, he splashed water on his face, then peered into the mirror. His shock deepened as he watched his eyes turn red, then black. “She has come again," he muttered before leaving the room.
