Me: [And now?]
I don't get to focus on Raphael's response as Luminous calls my name, shouting that everyone's ready. When I move to join them in the water, however, both her and Shuna scream for me to stop.
Me: What is it now?
Luminous: Strip.
Me: Over your dead body.
Luminous: Jokes on you, I'm already dead. Now strip.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry at her comment but rather than merely doing what I am told, I decide to go the alternate route and summon black lightning in the palm of my hand.
Me: Shall we test that theory.
The skies above darken as lightning begins flashing to and fro. Luminous stands her ground. Shuna is less trusting of my ability to remain calm and begins moving to get between us. Hinata, likewise moves forward but rather than attempt to difuse the situation, she moves to protect Luminous.
Me: Well, isn't this interesting? Hinata, do you truly think you are capable of protecting her?
Hinata bites her lips but steels her gaze and remains steadfast in her opposition. I can't help but laugh at how much confidence she has.
Me: Beelzebuth. Devour their clothes but leave the bodies unharmed.
Before anyone can react, the entire area gets flooded by a black, foggy-like substance which spools around us before retreating back into my palm. When it all clears, they all stand bare before me.
Hinata: AAAAAAAAAHHH!
Hinata releases such a girly scream as she drops her sword and covers herself that even Luminous is visibly shocked into silence.
