Up The Creek

It was a challenge day, but before anything happened, Duncan, Amanda, and Bridgette went out to surf for a bit. Or the surfer was teaching the fan girl on how to surf better. While Duncan just watched his girlfriend trying to surf. The lesson lasted for like an hour, and soon the three of them are heading back to the cabin.

"Gotta say, when you said you surfed occasionally, I thought you would need a couple of lessons to get a better hang of it. But I gotta say, you were a fast learner, Mandy." Bridgette praised.

Amanda beamed, and said," Thanks. I am a quick learner when it comes to something I'm interested in. But I believe you outclass me."

Bridgette smirked, and said," And don't you forget it."

Duncan joined in on the conversation and said "Come on Malibu, you know she's going to outclass you one day right."

"Oh I know, and when that day comes I'll be ready." Bridgette said with a determened look.

The two girls giggled, and walked into the cabin, got their clothes, and went to the washroom. While Duncan went back to the boys cabin. But none of them notice Geoff was around the girls cabin and he made sure to look around. Once he got the girls side of the cabin, he was glad no one was there. He walked inside, and then came back out a second later, and walked back to his side of the cabin.

Later both Amanda and Bridgette walked back to the cabin after showering, and were going to put their stuff away. Bridgette walked to her bunk, and noticed something under the cover. She raised a brow, pulled it back, and gasped in shock and horror.

"Oh my God." She said in disbelief.

Amanda went over to see what it was, and blinked at what she was seeing.

"Oh… that is so bad and corny at the same time." Amanda said, just as shocked.

When the time for the challenge of the day has come Bridgette immediately grabbed Amanda's hand so she can be partner's with her.

We went over to our teams and Chris came over next to the stand he had out. "Bass, Gophers, today's challenge is a true summer camp experience. A canoe trip"

"Youll be paddling your canoes across the lake, to Boney Island!" he said in a dramatic voice.

"What!? Not boats." I asked pretending to be scared earning a few laughs.

"Yes you will be rowing boats. When you get there you must portage your canoes to the other side of the island. Which is about a two hour hike through treacherous, dense, jungle" Chris explained.

"We gotta pour what?" Geoff asked

"Portage" Chris said. Somehow Geoff still looked like he doesn't understand the word and continued to blank out.

"Dude, walk with your canoe." Amanda explained.

"Ohh'" Geoff nodded, thanking Amanda for the explanation.

"When you arrived at the other end of the island you'll build a rescue fire that will be judged by me, the first team to paddle home and return their canoes to the beach is the winner of invincibility. Move campers move!!" Chris yelled at us making us run to the canoes.

"I bet you can guess who my canoe partner's gonna be." Amanda said to Bridgette.

"Me?" She asked hopefully.

"I was thinking about Duncan." Amanda said stating the obvious.

"Come on I have to tell you my story!" Bridgette said begging at her best friend.
