As Cat Noir held Ladybug tightly, they remained in their embrace for what felt like hours. The weight of their shared emotions hung heavy in the air, but their connection provided a much-needed solace.

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through Ladybug's chest, causing her to gasp and break away from the hug. She instinctively clutched her heart, her expression contorted with discomfort.

"Cat Noir," she managed to say through gritted teeth, her voice strained. "I... I need a moment."

Concern etched across his face, Cat Noir immediately released his hold on her and took a step back. "Ladybug, what's wrong? Are you okay?"

Ladybug tried to compose herself, forcing a reassuring smile despite the pain. "I'm... I'm fine, Cat Noir. It's just a sudden ache. It'll pass."

Cat Noir watched her carefully, his worry evident in his eyes. "Are you sure? Maybe we should seek medical help."

Ladybug shook her head, her voice filled with determination. "No, Cat Noir. I don't want to cause unnecessary worry. Let's continue... for now."

Reluctantly, Cat Noir nodded, still keeping a close eye on her. He understood her desire to put on a brave face, but the concern lingered within him.

As they started to prepare for their departure, Ladybug's steps faltered once again. Another sharp pain surged through her chest, causing her to stumble and grab onto a nearby railing for support.

"Ladybug!" Cat Noir exclaimed, rushing to her side. "What's happening? We should get you help right away."

Ladybug's breathing grew laboured, her voice strained. "I... I don't know, Cat Noir. It's worse this time."

As Ladybug's voice trailed off, her hand pressed tightly against her chest, Cat Noir's worry escalated. He quickly moved closer, gently placing a hand on her back for support.

"Let's not take any chances, Ladybug," Cat Noir said firmly, his voice laced with concern. "You're in pain, and we need to make sure you're all right. Please, let me take you to the hospital."

Ladybug hesitated, her expression conflicted. She knew Cat Noir was right, but the thought of exposing her identity and causing unnecessary worry weighed heavily on her.

"I... I don't want to go to the hospital, Cat Noir," Ladybug confessed, her voice filled with unease. "It's not just about our secret. I don't want to burden anyone or disrupt our duties."

Cat Noir's concern deepened, but he respected her wishes. He reached out, gently grasping her hand, his voice filled with empathy.

"Ladybug, I understand your concerns, but your well-being is important. We're a team, and taking care of each other is part of that," he said sincerely. "Please, let me find another way to help you."

Ladybug considered his words, her pain intensifying with each passing moment. She realized that pushing herself too far could jeopardize not only her own safety but also their ability to protect Paris.
She really didn't want to but she nodded, she knew Cat Noir would never let something like this slide.

Ladybug let out an exasperated sigh, her fatigue was evident. She glanced at Cat Noir and spoke with a touch of frustration in her voice.

"All right, fine," she relented. "But you better promise that our identities will stay a secret, no slip-ups."

Cat Noir nodded, his expression serious. He understood the gravity of the situation and the importance of maintaining their secret.

"You can count on me, Ladybug," he assured her, a determined look in his eyes. "I won't let anything jeopardize our secret. Our identities are safe with me, pinky promise."

Cat Noir slipped one of his hands around Ladybug's waist, feeling a surge of warmth and connection. The other hand tightly gripped his staff, ready for any obstacles that might come their way.

Together, they leapt from rooftop to rooftop, the rush of wind against their skin heightening their exhilaration. The cityscape blurred beneath them as they swiftly made their way towards their destination. Finally, they landed near the entrance of the hospital, their momentum coming to a graceful halt.

Breathing slightly heavier from their acrobatic journey, Cat Noir looked at Ladybug with earnestness in his eyes. His voice held a hint of urgency and genuine concern.

"Please, Ladybug," he pleaded, his words filled with passion. "Promise me that you'll let me know when you make it home safely. I worry about you, and knowing that you're okay brings me peace of mind."

"Of course, Cat Noir," she responded, her voice tender and sincere. "I promise to let you know when im safe at home."

Once the coast was clear, Ladybug swiftly de-transformed, reverting back to her civilian identity. She adjusted her appearance, ensuring that no trace of her superhero persona remained. With a determined expression, she walked past the waiting room and approached the front desk, where a friendly lady greeted her.

"Hello, dear. How can I help you today?" the lady asked, her fingers gliding across the keys of the keyboard in front of her.

Ladybug, now back to being Marinette, took a deep breath to steady herself before speaking. She mustered up the courage to share her concern.

"I need to see a doctor. I've been experiencing abnormal chest pains, and I think it's important to get a check-up," she explained, her voice tinged with a mix of worry and determination.

The lady's expression turned sympathetic as she listened to Marinette's request.
"Oh, darling, I hope you're okay," she replied with genuine concern. "Let me check the availability and get you an appointment. Are your parents here with you?"

Marinette hesitated for a moment, her heart sinking at the thought of her parents' absence.
"I... They're not with me at the moment, but they are aware that I'm here," she answered untruthfully, her voice tinged with a hint of sadness.

The lady nodded understandingly, her eyes filled with compassion.
"All right, dear. Don't worry. We'll take good care of you," she assured Marinette, her tone reassuring. "Let me finalize the appointment, and the doctor will see you shortly."

Marinette felt a wave of relief wash over her. She was grateful for the kind lady's understanding and reassurance. At this moment, she knew that she was in capable hands and that her health would be prioritized.

As she took a seat in the waiting area, Marinette couldn't help but feel a pang of longing for the presence of Cat Noir. However, she found it sweet how worried he was for her.
