The late afternoon sun filtered through the curtains of Adrien's room, casting a warm glow over the space as he sat at his desk. The air felt heavy with memories and unspoken words as he sifted through his belongings, getting ready for the new school year. The familiar scent of ink and paper wafted from a small stack of books, and nestled among them was a diary – Marinette's diary.

It had been a few weeks since her passing, but the pain still felt fresh, like a wound that refused to heal. Adrien's gaze lingered on the diary, his fingers tracing the worn cover. He hadn't forgotten about it; how could he? It was a testament to their shared moments, the glimpses into her thoughts that she had chosen to share with him.

With a sigh, Adrien picked up the diary, feeling its weight in his hands. He knew he had missed out on so much by not reading it sooner, by not fully understanding the depth of Marinette's feelings and experiences. He could almost hear her voice, see the twinkle in her eyes as she poured her thoughts onto those pages.

Opening the diary, he turned to a random page and began to read. The words seemed to come to life, each sentence carrying a piece of her essence. It was like a window into her soul, a way for him to reconnect with her, even if just for a moment. He could almost picture her sitting across from him, her laughter and warmth filling the room.

He kept reading.

A/N: Thank you for reading! I'm sorry I haven't uploaded in so long. I keep on saying that I will make it up but I haven't and I'm sorry but today I actually will.
