Aftermath

3rd POV

In the aftermath of Beacon's attack we see Y/N and Adam laying unconscious. A purple portal then opens. Through it walks Salem who looks down at Adam with a look of anger. His eyes barely open. Her eyes narrow.

Salem: "It seems you're still alive. Good."

He reaches for her. She however steps on his hand ramming her heel through it.

Salem: "I gave you explicit orders to merely cause disorder. Not casualties. You have failed me Adam."

Adam: *faintly* "Please... have mercy."

Salem: "You're not worthy of mercy."

She heartlessly kicks him off Beacon Tower to the Grimm below. The last thing to leave his body is a guttural, blood filled scream. Salem then turns to Y/N kneeling to his level. Looking down at him a smile graces her lips. She gently cups his cheek.

Salem: "You did good child."

She gently rakes her thumb over his cheek.

Salem: "I've long awaited someone like you. A person who can grant me my greatest desire."

She plants a gentle kiss on his forehead. A black ripple spreads over him. As it does his injuries begin healing themselves.

Salem: "Gather your strength and train. When you feel like you're ready, head to Haven. I'll be waiting."

Opening another portal she flees the area. Once she leaves a bullhead flies overhead when a voice is heard.

Passenger: "There's one!"

Y/N POV

I see only a black void. But then a woman's voice is heard through the ever present darkness.

Woman: "Head to Haven. I'll be waiting."

I gasp opening my eyes. Looking around I find myself in a hospital room. 

Y/N: "How'd I end up here?"

Sitting up the door opens. Looking grants me the sight of a doctor.

Doctor: "Oh, you're up."

Y/N: "I am."

She stands beside me.

Y/N: "How'd I get here?"

Doctor: "When evac ships were making their rounds, one found you on top of Beacon Tower. After loading you up they brought you here so that you could heal."

She looks at her clipboard.

Doctor: "And I gotta say heal you did. The paramedics said you had multiple severe burns on your torso and hand. But now it's like it never happened."

I look where she mentioned to see little more than scarring. I look back at her.

Y/N: "So does that mean I'm free to leave?"

Doctor: "Your test results are good. So yeah. You can leave."

*timeskip*

After being handed my stuff I walk outside the hospital. I hold out my thumb to hail a taxi when I hear my name.

Voice: "You Y/N L/N?"

I turn seeing a man in a red cape.

Y/N: "That would depend. Who wants to know?"

Man: "Ruby Rose sent me."

Y/N: "How do you know her?"

Man: "I'm her uncle."

The taxi stops. He enters. He then looks at me.

Man: "You coming?"

I get inside the taxi which soon takes off. After a few more rides I arrive on the island of Patch. Going to the front door we enter. 

Man: "I'm home."

Footsteps rapidly approach.

Ruby: "Uncle Qrow!!!"

She leaps attaching to his chest. Her eyes then fall on me.
