POV: Third Person

Destination: Home

Y/n drank her wine as she stared at the city view, a pair of arms wrapped around her waist as they kissed her cheek.

A year has passed, things got a little better, her son was put in a private institution in London instead military school.

"You look great." Peter complimented Y/n as he spun her to look at her.

She gave him a small smile.

It was winter in New York City, there was snow everywhere, a little snow flake landed on top of her nose, "We should probably head inside." he insisted, "It's getting cold." the young lady nodded, "I'll catch up with you later." she said as she kissed his cheek.

Y/n thought the chapter of her and Miles closed the minute he died, but she didn't know the truth.

The truth that he was still out there.

Looking for his way back, to her.

Some of you might think I'm fucked up for moving on, but the truth is I haven't, Parker knows it too, he is fine with it, he's hurting from stuff happening in his universe.

A lot of people don't like me for choosing to 'move on' with my life, but like I said, I haven't. I am still hurting, no matter what happens, Miles will be in my heart.

"Mom?" I heard, I finished my wine and turned to see my son, who grew a lot stand in front of me, "Hey." I said as I walked in the penthouse, after he told me he didn't want me alive, I just felt nothing around him.

I couldn't blame him for thinking like this though.

"Mom I just wanted to say I am sorry." he said, "I learned my lesson while I was over there, I know you are trying your hardest, I just really missed dad." he said as I poured more wine in my glass.

I shrugged, "It's fine." I replied and drank from the glass, "Ma, ya se que todavia estas enojada." (translation: I know you're still mad.)

I chuckled, "Marcos, I am over it. Right now I need you focused on graduating and doing good in school, then when you're done you can have me out of your life, for good." I said as I put the cup down.
