POV: YoursDestination: New York
Miles always spoke about never wanting to loose me.
Never in a million years would I have thought that I'd loose him.
I dropped off my son and watched as he high fived his friends, he turned to give me a small wave, I nodded a goodbye and drove to work.
It's been three fucking years.
I was still a producer, I just asked to be on set less.
You might be wondering what happened? How did I loose him?
Ever heard of a blip?
Well someone messed with the multi-verse, to the point people disappeared.
"Miles, you are not fucking saving the universe right now." I demanded.
"We have to! Do you not get it?! We will never get to live in peace if the multi-verse isn't fully fixed-" "It's never going to fix! Ever noticed that it always keeps getting targeted, and you know what it is no longer our business to save it! Now we have to worry about our family! There are many heroes right now trying to fix this! Please, back down Miles!" I begged.
Marcos watched from afar in fear as Miles sighed and walked up to him, "I'll be okay, protect your mom while I am gone okay?" he asked.
"But what if you don't come back?" the little dark skinned boy asked.
"I will. And when you come back, I have some cool places we can go to, we can even spray paint the whole area like we always talk about." Miles said with a smile, Marcos nodded and hugged him.
He walked up to me, "I will be back." he said quietly as he kissed me.
I shook my head, "Miles don't leave me." I begged.
"I will be back, do not worry. They need me, Marcos needs you so please watch over him."
I cried and Miles hugged me to calm me down.
A building next to ours started sinking, Miles pulled away and quickly went to the balcony, before he jumped, he turned to look at both of us and gave us a smile, his usual heart warming smile.
I stared at the road, there was no happiness in my life anymore.
Life was not good, life was miserable, I did my best with Marcos, but at some point he had to help me.
"Mija," Rio said as she walked up to me, "Let us take care of Marcos, he has been telling us about how you've been, I understand it is a lot, but he needs to be taken care of, properly." I nodded, "I know, I know, I am so sorry, it's just a lot has been going on-" Rio hugged me tightly as I cried in her arms. "It will be okay. We got this. We can have him on weekdays but from Friday to Sunday you have to be there for him." I agreed.
I decided to let Rio and Jeff help me, they were his guardians most of the time.
When I reached work, the director walked up to me for concerns about the movie, but I couldn't even hear her out.
"Maybe you should go home miss Y/n." she suggested.
I sighed, "No, it's fine." I said as I sat in my chair, "Re do this whole scene, I wanna see magic happen." I said.
