32: A Diary?

Nandini's pov

I came out of the restaurant to see him sitting in car waiting for me. I should call an uber I am not in a mood to see him.

I start looking for a ride on uber app but my phone was snatched.

"What the fuck?" I yelled

"You think I'm your driver to wait for you?" He asked totally pissed off

"Who asked you to wait Mr Manik Malhotra?" I asked

"So you are planning to stay here all night?" he asked

"Well maybe why it is bothering you?" I snatched the phone back and booked a ride

"Fine" he said and sat back in car. He started the engine but didn't move.

Soon the uber arrived and I sat. He was still there the car started and he too moved behind me.

Why this guy is so weird? On one hand he hurt me with every move and on one hand he shows the care, what is he?

WHATEVER!

We arrived home and I left to my room to sleep. I am not in a mood to see him until tomorrow maybe.

The next day morning was same going on a meeting and getting bored there. I asked Manik to handle everything on his on as doing meetings and all is not my cup of tea.

We came back home this time in same car, today he is quite after yesterday's talk. Well I also don't care.

I came out of my room to see him watching Tv, I don't want to talk to him but I have.

"Manik?"

"Yes"

"Where is my book? I remember I was reading in plane and after that I'm not able to find it?" I sais crossing my arms, he is watching wrestling.

"In my room on side table" he said not even looking at me

I left towards his room to find the my book but it wasn't there. I opened the drawer and there it was. Taking it out I was going to close the drawer but My eyes fell on a diary

Firstly I ignored but then I don't know why I took out and taking both I left his room.

"Got it" I said while he moved his hand in air in response.

I came back in my room, sitting comfortably on bed, I opened the diary.

First 2 pages were empty and the third page starts:

'Hi dear diary I know it's been so long since I talked to you but I lost interest in writing you know dad is not getting well its been years. Sometimes life is so boring but now it's going to be worst and full of hate because dad's first daughter who is technically my step sister has arrived from no where. I was shocked to see her and On a serious not I hate that girl She is full of ego and attitude....'

He stopped writing. I turned the page.

'Hi diary how's you? I'm back. You know today a very strange thing happened to me. I was watching a movie with my friends but when I left to attend a call I met an unknown girl. I wasn't able to see her as it was all dark but I don't know why I kissed her. Its not I haven't kissed any girl before but she was different, those soft lips and I was shocked when she responded back. I don't know who she was Alya, Navya or that Nandini's friend or maybe she? I don't know!'

He again stopped in between. I turned the page

'Today that same girl was in the lift. I remember her scent but I was shocked when I saw Nandini wearing the same dress she was wearing and... She told me she is the one whom I kissed I mean how? It was weird and totally wrong but Why don't it feel like?'

I turned the pages, Every page had my name in it. A smile appeared on my face.

'Today she was behaving a bit weird I don't know why but I chose not to ask if she'll feel like to share then she will definitely. Diary you know I have fallen in love with her I know its wrong but What done is done I don't care now. I have decided to confess to her tomorrow. I hope she won't go on terrace As I have already decorated it tomorrow night I will confess my feelings I don't know about her answer and I'm nervous'

I was beyond shocked he was going to confess? No!

'Hi diary back! I'm not fine not at all she left me. I don't know why she ran away with dad. I know she must have left for his treatment but she could tell me? She ran away she left I... I don't know what to do! She didn't trust me to share'

'Hi diary back again it's been 3 months 8 hours 54 minutes since she left. She never called me, never asked about my well being. I don't have her new number but she had mine but she didn't'

Hi diary today is my birthday and she isn't here, My friends gave me a very good surprise, mom as well but I still miss her I also miss dad I wish she was here it's been 6 months 15 hours 47 minutes now and no messages from her side'

'Hi Diary I know its long but I wasn't feeling like to write. You won't believe what happened today she came back and... Dad is alright he is now standing on his feet. I'm so happy to see him back to life but Seeing Nandini I don't know I am angry on her'

"Hi diary how are you? Today I found a very weird information about Me and Nandini. Dad was telling tomorrow is Nandini's birthday but-'

After that the diary was empty. What he found out? I was so hurt and shocked. He write diary like me and... He was going to confess, God. Why I never knew?
