33: His Care

Nandini's pov

I came out with the diary, hiding it behind me. I sat on couch now he is watching an action movie.

"I'm hungry" I said

"I have ordered food it must be on the way" he said And I nodded. He looked at me then back to Tv

"You know you shouldn't wear this clothes in front of me" he said and I looked at myself. I was wearing a T-shirt till my mid thighs with just a panty under

"Why you can't control yourself?" I asked

"Yeah you can say that" he winked at me and I rolled my eyes

"Manik is there something you have hide from me?" I asked and now his gaze shift towards me

"Like what?" He asked raising his brow

"Anything I mean related to us?" On us my voice came out like a husk

"There is no us Nandini you remember?" He said

"I'm talking about past Manik something you hide from me in past"

"No there isn't but why are you asking all of a sudden Nandini?" He asked

I took out diary from my back showing him in front. His expressions changed and he snatched it from me

"You... You read it?" He asked

"Unfortunately yes I did"

"Why who asked you to Nandini? It's my personal thing" he said with a panic tone

"Why you didn't tell me that you were going propose me? You were going to confess your feelings Manik why didn't you tell me?" I asked

"Does it matter? You couldn't change the anything right? It was all done and my feelings they doesn't matter Nandini so let's leave this topic" he said

"You could have tell me instead of taking a revenge you should tell me about your feelings. I know you had the right to get angry and on a serious note I was ready to bear that but... Why you chose to take a revenge?"

"Nandini... Forget this I don't want to talk about this" saying so he was leaving the room but I held his arm pulling him back

"You can't until you tell me" I ordered

"So what you want me to do? Okay fine I accept I was so overload with the anger that I thought to take a revenge, I know what I did was wrong and you know what I regret it daily but I know nothing is going to change between us because I have hurt you a lot, Okay you happy now?" He said

"No I'm not Reading your diary made me realize I did wrong to you And I'm sorry for that Manik yes you are right nothing is going to change between us, we can't get back together but still I'm sorry" I said not looking at him

"Nandini please let's not talk about this please, I'm really tired I have worked a lot today so please" he said and I nodded.

Later we ate our food and I lay comfortably watching that boring movie as I don't know why the fuck my Internet isn't working

The next morning I wake up to see myself on the couch with a duvet on me. I slept here only. Ouch My back is paining! God

I got up left to my room to freshen up. Entering inside I saw him sleeping on bed? I looked around, is it my room or I entered in wrong one?

No it is mine only, then what is he doing in my room as well as bed?

"Manik! Get up"

"What?"

"Get up why are sleeping in my room?"

"I am in mine Nandini" he said

"Have a look around then Mr" I said. He slowly opened his eyes and looked around

"I was sleepy last night I didn't noticed" he said

"Now you're awake right, so leave" saying so I left in bathroom.

Entering inside I noticed weird. Oh god I hit my periods Why I didn't noticed! I came out to take my things from bag. He was still there leaning on wall

"What you want Manik?" I asked picking up my bag putting on bed

"Nothing I was thinking why don't we take shower together? You know we should save water" I again rolled my eyes.

"Fuck! I don't have much!" I said in a low tone

"You said something?" He asked

Taking my things I left to bathroom But before closing the door

"I won't mind wasting water So you better leave" I closed the door at his face

"You want something? I mean-"

"No!"

At night I came out of my room as Manik is still on work. I was having quite bad pain so I asked him to go alone. I don't know if he is back or not because I slept for I don't know how many hours.

Its 2 am. I went to kitchen to see if he has ordered something to eat but there was nothing I'm starving damn!

I came out and sat on couch it was when my eyes landed on table which was having 2 to 3 shopping bags. I opened one to see food along with Pani puri, wait where he found Pani puri in UK?

I ran to get the plates and start eating one after one. After that I ate the sandwich. I opened another bag to see different kids of chips and chocolates and one pack sanitary pads. He know?

What is he upto? On one hand he says nothing can happen between us and on other hand he shows the care.

You dumbo maybe he's taking care like a brother?

Ewww No! We can't be siblings I mean I know we are but still... Not anymore

I opened the door of his room to see him sleeping. I went inside sat nearby. I caressed his face with a smile.

"Thank you" I said and kissed his cheek

"Yes mom I love her and please don't start all over again" he was talking in sleep.

"Manik!" I called but he turned his face to the other side and snuggles in pillow.

I came out of room taking all the things I went back to my room
