36: Nyonika's Truth!

Nandini's pov

"Nandini I want-" We both sat up shocked.

Fuck!

I covered myself properly.

"Dad! I... We... It's not what you're th-" Manik was trying to defend but dad interrupted

"Nandini I'm waiting for you downstairs I need to talk to you" he said and left.

"Shit!" He cursed.

"What will happen now?" I asked

"I don't know but you go down and listen to him" he said and I nodded.

Wearing my clothes I went down to see him sitting on couch. Shit how am I suppose to face him?

"Dad!" I called

"Sit" he wasn't looking at me. I sat down looking down playing with my fingers. "I have talked to lawyer for the divorce" I looked at him

"So soon?"

"Yes Tomorrow I will ask Nyonika about the truth if she tell herself then it's good if not then I have no option left rather then sending her to jail" he said

"What about... Man... Manik" I said

"Obviously he will get hurt but we have no other option" he said and I nodded "you can leave now"

I got up and was leaving but stopped as he called me

"I never expected this from you" he said disappointedly and I left.

Coming back to my room I took a deep breathe. Manik came out from bathroom

"What he said?" He asked

"He was asking about my... My car, the tire is flat so he wanted to... Whatever leave this"

"He didn't said anything about us?" I sat on bed

"He did"

"What?"

"I never expected this from you" He sat besides me.

"Don't tense yourself Nandini everything will be fine, He will understand with time okay?" He said and I nodded.

I am not worry about that. I'm worry because he is going to get hurt by tomorrow.

The next morning dad call both of us down and we sat in front of him. His expressions were clearly showing how bad he was at us.

"Why you called all of us?" Nyonika asked coming.

"Sit" dad said.

"What happened?" She asked sitting besides him.

"What is this Nyonika?" He asked showing a kind of a paper to her

"What?" She hold the paper and read it. "Where did you find this?" Her expressions were now change.

"What it is dad?" Manik asked

"Your mom declared me dead to get the property on her name" dad said

"What?" Manik asked

"No! It's not what you're thinking I did it because after you I had to look after business and my lawyer suggested me to-"

"To tell everyone that your husband is dead and transferred everything on your name" he shouted.

"Is it true mom?" Manik asked

"Yes it is true and Manik I'm sorry to tell you that your mother is a killer" Dad finally revealed and I close my eyes

"What are you even saying?" Nyonika asked totally shocked

"Now don't say I'm lying Nyonika because you know I'm not... You were the one behind my accident and you were the one feeding me wrong medicines when I was on the bed so that I could never come back and die"

"Dad you can't accuse mom like this" Manik shouted

"I'm not accusing I have proofs"

"He isn't lying Manik... Nyonika is behind everything" I said

"You knew?" He asked

"Yes I knew but I was not having any proofs to clear you so I chose to hide" I said.

"If you don't believe us then here see this" he showed him some kind of a video.

He was shocked. He looked towards Nyonika but she rolled her eyes.

"So what? You find out right? Now what will you do? You know what you can't do anything now because All of your property is now mine you have nothing left. Yes you are right I was the one injecting you wrong medicines, I was the one behind your accident as well but... You were so lucky that you got saved that day! What you think I am so in love with you? Hahaha no I was never it was always money. How can I love a person you love someone else? I know you still love that bitch you still love her mother who ditched you, how can you even expect me to love you?"

"Yeah right! I was wrong you are right Nyonika and you know what I always knew but I thought you will change with time but no you didn't and about my property so Mrs... Oh sorry miss to be soon I got back everything you think I am fool? Everything is on my name again and I am giving you a divorce Nyonika" Dad said

Manik left from there leaving the house. I was going to follow him but stopped What if she try to hurt dad?

They were arguing but my focus was on Manik I hope he is fine!

Whole night I keep waiting for him to come but he didn't I called his friends but they don't know where he is. I called him million times but he didn't responded. I don't know what is going to happen now.

The next day Dad gave divorce to Nyonika and bought her a small house so that she can live there. Of course she is Manik's mother after all this is needed. Manik is still missing, dad asked me about him too but what do I tell him when I myself don't know?

On the way to home Dad stopped on some unknown place while I am sitting in car waiting for him. I again called him but his phone is switched off

Manik where are you?

Dad came and sat besides me while driver started the car.

"Here take this" he said giving me a paper. I looked at it and it was a ticket.

"What's this?"

"Your ticket to America Nandini it's better if you go back" he said

"Dad!"

"Nandini no arguments about his I'm already angry with you I don't want to say something hurtful so it's better if you go back from where you came" his words hurt me to the core

From where I came?

"Unfortunately I'm your daughter dad this is from where I came but... I will leave" I said "driver stop the car"

"Where are you going?"

"I need some fresh air" saying so I left the car.
