30: The Night

Nandini's pov

"Well you can't go alone" Cabir said

"But I want to be alone for sometime"

"But right now you're going fo race?" He asked looking at my back. I forgot about that maniac

"No I am not"

"Thank God I thought you are"

I looked towards him and he blinked his eyes adding fuel to my boil temper

"What are you waiting for girl?" He asked

"Not today dude maybe some other day because I'm in a hurry" I said

"Well as you say" saying so he left

I looked back towards Cabir.

"Why are you here?" I asked

"You know I am always there for you and... I am trying to understand you I mean yes its not easy because he is your fucking brother so what if you're step siblings but the fact is you're siblings and its not easy to gulp"

"I know but I love him and I really don't care about what others think" I started the engine

"I know you don't care and I also don't care but... Your Father? Nyonika? She will never let her son be with you she hates you Nandini you remember?"

"I do but she is just a few days guest after her truth will be revealed she won't stay with us"

"And you think Manik will never see her? For heaven's sake Nandini she is his mother and after the truth revealing thing she will hate you more and it will become impossible for you two to be together" he explained

Later that night:

I'm in my room as he asked me to stay here until he calls me himself. I'm quite impatient I don't know why

I'm going to confess my love for him and he too will confess. I was blushing oh god I can't believe I'm blushing for the first time ever

"Beautiful I'm waiting for you" I received the message and I left the room. I looked down to see no one so I went upstairs.

Entering inside I was stunt, there was a setup for dinner 2 chairs a table in center with some dishes and wine. Around them it was decorated with rose flowers and lights. When did he prepared all this?

"Like it?" He hugged me from behind kissing my cheek

"Its so beautiful I don't know what to say"

"Then don't say anything" I turned around kissing him for a second

"Manik this is really special" I said. I was getting emotional I don't know why

"I know it is" saying so he took me towards the table

He made sit like a gentleman and himself sat in front of me

"What would you like to eat first?" He asked

"Manchurian" I said while he served to me and then to himself.

We ate with no talking just starring and smiling session after that he served the dessert.

"This is really yummy" I spoken

"Yeah it is I thought You won't like it"

"No I do like it" I said and he held my other free hand in his

After we're done he asked for my hand getting up while I given and we starred at each other. He pulled me close and all this while I was smiling.

"So... what now?" He asked

"Tell me when did you prepared this?" I asked

"In the morning after I came home" He said with a upset face

"Your friends talking to you?" I asked

"Not now But I don't care because I know they will after few days" he said

"Yeah after all we are friends" I said

"Yes right"

I hugged him tightly while he too responded back.

"You know what I can't wait anymore to tell you, to tell you that I Love you, Yes Manik I do I love you and I am not ashamed to tell this to everyone to the world and I am not scared" I finally confessed and he smiled but it was weak

"So you finally confessed" he said and chuckled. A sad chuckle

"Yes I did" he kissed me hard

"Good" and then jerked me away

"What? Good what?" You won't say anything?" I asked

"Oh yes I will, I will say" his actions and attitude weren't giving me good vibes I don't know why

"You okay right?" I asked being concerned.

"I'm all okay Nandini actually I'm good enough now because Today I finally took my revenge"

"What? What revenge?"

"To make you confess Nandini! What you thought you will leave me alone run away and after of 8 fucking months you will come back apologize making some lame excuses and I will forget everything I will forget the pain I felt when you didn't trust me to share anything with me? He is my dad too and I had a right to know everything I would have helped you but you chose to leave me doing everything on back and run away, you know you are not different then your mother" I looked at him as the last words he used were hurtful

"Don't say the words you will regret later Manik" I said

"Oh really? why not it's hurting? I felt the same Miss Nandini I felt the same pain" He said

"Manik I had reasons I couldn't tell you"

"What huh? What reasons you had I want to know tell me God damn it" I yelled

"I can't but... I don't believe you, you chose to take revenge seriously? You could say me no that day when I came to you apologizing but... You showed me that everything is fine between us why Manik Why?"

"Because I hate you Nandini I don't love you I only lust you, you understand I have no feelings for you" he said. I took a deep breathe

"I can see your hate Manik you really hate me Its obvious because you planned so much to make fun of my feelings but you know what you will regret later" I said And was leaving but stopped

He was smirking!

"It was for dad's safety" he looked at me "someone was keeping and eye on dad he was giving poison to him through medicines and he was aware of every step we take that is why I did everything on my own because I couldn't take a risk, Dad's life was in danger and he was more important to me so I did What Felt right to me but you are so selfish to think" Saying so I left.
