Our attention is caught by Miguel as we turn to face him now.

"Miles, you disrupted a canon event. And y/n, you are a living canon event and anomaly"

"Canon event?"
"Anomaly?"

"The kid wasn't thinking!" Peter defenses us.

"Wait what are you upset about? We saved those people" Miles points out.

"And that's the problem" Miguel however counters.

Huh?

"Woah woah woah back up red panther"

"Hahah, funny. Lyla! Can you do the thing" his sarcastic tone makes this argue at pick fun at him more stronger.

"Huh? What thing?" The holographic  woman appears out of no where.

"What? What do you mean "what thing"? The information explaining thing"

"Okay." Lyla opens up her hands, and the whole room changes in color and atmosphere. This place keeps getting more and more amazing. The room goes black with detailed lines of orange and red, then completely blacks out with a single shining light floating in the air, coming down slowly in front of us.

"What's this?"

"This...is everything."

"Amazing explanation."

Lyla tries to keep in her laughter when Miguel's face twitches, but he chooses to ignore me. The dot sinks into the ground, and then a beautiful ray of light comes out from where the dot disappeared into, making more light lines form into what looks like a tree.

"Uh, she's right. Can you be more specific?"

"Can you not talk for a second?"

"Or maybe it would help if you talked more than you glared." he glares at me for that.

The tree turns into full bloom of glowing flowers on the branches, but then it starts to fade out, then a large cast of what looks like a net of webs in strings of orangey red lines surround us. In a beautiful web around us. My astonishment is going through the roof with this place and it's technology, other dimensions have so much to offer from their unique times. This is a prime example of one of them.

"This here.....this us all of us. All of our lives. Woven together, in a beautiful web of life and destiny, " Miguel's dramatic enthusiasm on the explanation adds to the mood of his explanation.

"The Spiderverse," Miles says, looking around the webs in awe as I do the same, looking around the patterns of silked lives and fate.

"Spiderverse? Huh that's...stupid" I side eye Miguel from his stance behind us, hands on his hips.

"It's called the Arachni-Humanoid Poly-Multiverse." I turn to look at the man with a raised eyebrow.

"That's stupid."

"Uhh.. you're right, I guess."

"And these nodes, where the mids converge?" I walk to what Miles talks about walking over to a hexagonal like shape with shards of images in the webs that separated the shape into triangles. A different picture in each.

"They are the canon. Chapters that are part of every Spider's story, every time....some good....some bad..... some very bad"

The holographic world shifts, and there's a hologram of younger Miles and Uncle Aaron, the scene where he died. My heart twists at the sight and the last words the boy's uncle says to him. I seem not to be part of the image, but I look behind them and see mine. Peter in front of me dying out with sadness in his blue eyes on the floor, the bubbling feeling from his death almost comes out of me again as I feel the tears wanting to spill and the anger in my fists but Miles hand finds mine as he looks at me warmly.

"This one, event ASM-90. A police captain close to Spider-Man dies saving a kid from falling rubble during a battle with an arch-nemesis"

"Captain Stacy....I'm so sorry." I see Miles turn to Gwen as she turns away from us. I trail my eyes over the long line of spiders and loved ones in events of the same sad thing played over and over and over again with each one....

....how is this okay?

"That happened to you?" Miles questions in a sympathetic tone as he turns to look at Peter.

"And me," I avert my eyes from him to my mom, and my eyes fill with concern when she shakes her head lightly and looks off to the side. Turning my attention to Hobie, he looks caught off and looks away.

"Yea? What of it?"

"That's how the story's supposed to go, Canon events are the connections that bind our lives together. And those connections can be broken. That's why Anomalies....are so dangerous. " Miguel turns his attention towards me as I stare at him, then my mother, who looks down in shame. I feel for her, but I'm still just as confused, though.

"Inspector Singh's death was a canon event. You weren't supposed to be there, and you weren't supposed to save him. Y/n's first death was one too but...somehow that was also stopped when she landed in your dimension. And that's why Gwen tried to stop you Miles in Mumbattan. "

I was supposed to be dead?...

My grip on Miles' hand tighens, and I feel his as well.

"I thought you were tryna save me?" He turns to her with disbelief slightly in his eyes.

"I was...I was doing both," she looks away.

"And now Miles, because you changed the story. Pavitr's dimension is unraveling. If we're lucky... we can stop it. We haven't always been lucky, " Miguel explains.

"Wait, isn't that black hole because of the collider. "If the collider turns on, it'll cause a black hole under Brooklyn." You seem to busy yourself watching all that happens in other dimensions. You must have heard what Peter1610 said about that" I defend, stepping in front of Miles from Miguel. My hold on his hand squeezes slightly for reassurance.

"No, it's what happens when you break the canon."

"How do you know?"

"Because I've broken it once myself." My confusion and irritation mix when he says this.

'Let's hear him out first'

'He's gonna spit bullshit'

"I found another world where I had a family. Where I was happy. At least that version of me was. And that version of myself was killed....so I replaced him... I thought it was harmless... but I was wrong. "

I see the world where Miguel wanted to keep, that he wanted to protect because he was happy there, I feel sick almost when the realization hits me, that poor kid. I'm sorry for her loss but for some random man to impose himself as her real father? What sick game is this?

I see that world he wanted to keep crumble before my eyes as people ran for their lives but just pixeled away, fading out, out of existence. We see Miguel running too with a kid in his hold but the little girl in his arms fades too, watching the fear, sadness and terror in his eyes when he looks to his hands that once held the child. But then I look more and see Peter now, and he's...holding me....as a small baby around 1. I feel my expression fall and my heart swell so he'd found me? But how'd I end up in 1610, or is that another me? Did I glitch away, too? Did he know, too?

"Isn't that right, Peter?" I turn to him for an explanation, but he looks away with a simple agreement with Miguel and guilt in his eyes.

"You break enough, canon, you save enough captains...."
The universe goes crashing into us with glitching pixels as Miles shields his eyes from it, and I face the holographic blow ready to now feel something that this holographic lesson has to offer because I feel cold.

...I'm a canon event?.....
