"And if you do, you could lose everything" the rest of the orange red webs held together, break. Bit by bit into dust that falls from above us into nothing at our feet.

"My dad is about to be Captain...."

My eyes widen, and I turn to Miles as he looks down, his eyes starting to dart everywhere, but then he shrieks in pain. I'm about to be sure he's okay when the same pain strikes through my head and encloses my vision into darkness and then flashing imagines.

"I'm gonna take everything from you... like you took everything from me....as her as the final ending."

I see it now, the creation of Spot

His rampage in the form of his portals everywhere, causing distrustion and disaster.

Miles dad running to save a kid from a falling building

A black fire... and .....my eyes in it. My screams then completely darkness.

My heart sinks, and my breathing is shakly, the lump in my throat stopping me from screaming or crying. I feel my body tremble as I stand with my ears starting to ring out, and I look to my hands that shake.

"Spot does it. He kills him. "

"And I-

'Stop' 'stop' Deo and Miles stop me from talking any further.

"When does it happen?..... When does it happen?!" Miles' disbelief in these people shows as he rasies his voice in question to eveyone around us looking for an answer.

I turn to my mother. Did she know?

"In two days.....When he's sworn in," Miguel finally speaks, and Lyla appears on his shoulder again.

"That's what the model says."

"I'm sorry, Miles,"

"Send me home," I hear his racing heart as he yells at Miguel.

"I can't....not now," Miguel answers him though dismissing his request without a glance at the kid.

"What am I supposed to do? Just let him die?!" They all still stay silent, but I feel my anger bubbling again, taunting me in my mind to let it out.

"He asked you a question! And i got a lot more to ask, too. What the hell happens to me?! You know, because I basically destroy the multiverse!"

"You are.....a special case,"

"What are you gonna do?!"
He doesn't answer me but looks away rather, and I turn to my mom when Miles turns to Gwen.

"....you knew? So tell me what happens with me" my mom looks away closing her eyes with the tears forming but my own are starting up now and there's no room to sympathize with her and not myself as well.

"What about your dad? He's a captain. Right?" Miles voice is heard as he questions Gwen.

"Yeah."

"And that's it. You just aren't gonna do anything about it?" They stay silent and say nothing.

Not even a look of what might be to come, a loophole, nothing. They've just accepted it....excepting us to do the same.

"Okay, what about Uncle Ben? That would've been okay if you knew and you let it play out?!"

"If it wasn't for Uncle Ben, most of us wouldn't be here, Miles."

"But how sure are you, Peter?" I snap at him.

"Look, all the good we all did. It wouldn't have been done. "

"So we're just supposed to let people die! Because some algorithm"

"Oh. Whoa!" I walk up to the holographic woman which she pipes down to.

"Says that's that's supposed to happen?"

"Swear on my life, Lyla. I really don't wanna do this, but say something against him. I will hack into your main frame and delete you from existence forever. Then Miguel can watch you die. "

"Y/n-"

"No! She's right! Do you all realize how messed up all of this sounds?" Miles defenses me trying to really understand where they were coming from, but it still made little to no sense to him

"You have a choice between saving one person and saving an entire world."  I notice Spider people emerge from the dark shadows of the simulation behind Miguel. They slowly fade in by the eyes.

"Then what happens with me?!" My shadows are leaking from my fingers and my body, but I close my hands into closed fists to not let it slip....not yet at least.

"We can do both! Spider-Man always -" Miles yells out.

"No, always,"

"Guys, we all want to live a life that we wish we had." This hits so much irritation in me.

"The life you wish you had," I spit venom at him, which changes nothing in his expression, but his eyes do break a bit. That's a bit of satisfaction in me.

"I know... and I have tried. And the harder I tried....the more damage I did. You can't have it all kids. " More Spider people emerge from the dark coming into our space crowding us, letting anxiety crawl over me in an uncomfortable sensation of being watched.

"Being Spider-Man is a sacrifice. That's the job. That's what you signed up for, "

"A random fucking spider bit me!"

"Y/n..." I look to the owner of the voice and spot her, drained, tired. The sparkle in her anime eyes gone.

"Penny?....And this is what a canon event can do to a person?"

I turn to Miles and feel my insides turn, my worry overflow when I see the hurt and betrayal in his eyes. I can't lose my Sunshine to this.
