Derek had grabbed Foster from the pediatric floor and the two had made their way down to the car. Foster wanted nothing more than to slam the door of the car but she was raised better and knew better than to do that.
The two hadn't exchanged any words, Derek could tell that the girl was absolutely heated.
"So I'm guessing Doctor Robbins talked to you about everything?"
Foster turned to look at Derek who's eyes were focused on the road. "If by everything you mean therapy, then yeah. And I'm pissed." And at that point he decided to drop it. It was still fresh in her mind.
When the two went inside Foster started heading up the stairs. "Oh Foster if you get a second introduce yourself to April." She nodded, inferring that April was the redhead she saw the other day.
Walking down the hallway she saw supposed 'April' in her room and stopped at her door way. Foster felt like a stalker watching the girl lay in her bed and reading.
She noticed her red hair and immediately gave her the nickname ginger, even though April wouldn't know it yet. Thought she looked at her in awe, she was gorgeous. And that's how the phrase "Damn ginger." slipped out of her mouth in a whisper. But it was loud enough for the girl to look up from her reading.
"Oh um hi! Can I do something for you?" April asked with a confused look in her brown eyes.
Foster practically jumped in the doorway. "Oh, I was just told I should introduce myself..." Foster just looked at the floor not really knowing what to do.April looked at her with a smile "You can come in." She patted a space next to her on the bed and Foster sat down. She reached her hand out, "Foster Shepard."
"April Kepner."
"So I've heard."
"Have you now?" She looked at her playfully.
The younger girl nodded before looking at the book April was reading. "You like to read?" April asked as the girl nodded. "What are you reading?" Foster asked curiously, she had calmed down a bit."The Bible." April replied. "Bible?" She questioned. "The book of Christianity." April picked up the leather bound book and showed it to her. "As in religion?" April nodded. "I've never seen one in person before. I was never really raised on religion, a little bit of science and a little bit of love is what I got." Foster shrugged remembering when she was little and she would spend all day next to her mother.
"Well, it's your right to choose your religion. It has the answers to the questions and is there for you to lean on during hard times. You can be Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Islamic, etc. Or you can be nothing at all." The redhead said softly.
Foster had a small sparkle in her eye. She gets to choose. That never really happened in her life, this could be a source of comfort. April watched the girl in awe, loving to teach her.
"Eventually if you go to school it might have a religion class that can help you even more."
Foster nodded. "Thank you." And with that she walked slowly into her own room deciding to research the topic further.

Foster had spent the afternoon quietly in her room enjoying reading and researching. When she heard a knock on her door. She figured it was Meredith or Derek trying to speak with her about the appointment or for dinner. She felt too guilty to ignore them so she opened the door. But it wasn't who she expected. "Hey girl. Brought you food." Christina said walking in hands held high lowkey raising the roof.
The two had a good relationship, surprisingly the talking was mainly done by Christina. "Thank you." Foster said politely, also quietly. She didn't real feel like talking recently. "And she speaks." Christina flopped onto Fosters bed like it was her own to which Foster raised a brow at. "What? Leave me alone."
"So, when did you get here." Christina asked.
"Few nights ago." Foster responded. Christina started shoving her mouth full with food meanwhile Foster ate slowly. "So, I heard you're getting send to the shrink." Christina giggled with a mouth full of food.
"Mmph." Foster replied, her head falling into the pillow. "Hey I've had my time with the shrink." Christina slapped her back, probably a little too hard as the girl started to choke. "Shit you okay? I cant kill neurogods niece."
Foster was now on her back looking at her knees, with a weird look on her eye that Christina noticed. She waved her hand in front of the younger girls face. "Hey. Foster you there? You okay?."
"It's just-. Last time someone did that i-it was Alex when..."
"Oh my gosh I am so sorry." Christina said and tried to continue but was cut off. With a thud Foster rolled off the side of the bed on accident dying of laughter. "What?" Christina was so confused.
"You should've seen the look on your face!" Foster wheezed holding her stomach. "You are dark!" Christina yelled. After a few more minutes Foster calmed down and let out a sigh. "You really think I should go?"
"You know even if you go you don't need to talk." Christina hinted, trying to help Foster as well as her best friend. Foster and Christina have very similar trauma response's whenever people try to get them to talk.
Christina gave her a smile before grabbing the mainly empty plates of food and left the room gently closing the door.

"She eat anything?" Meredith asked her best friend as she came down the stairs. "Yeah a bit. Just let her come to you, trust me." Christina said as she laid a hand on Merediths shoulder."Yeah..." Meredith said as she looked down at the counter, now wanting to be the bad guy but wanting to get her niece (and practically goddaughter) help.
Christina left shortly after and Meredith was cleaning up when she heard small thumps coming down the stairs but thought nothing of it since so many people live there.
She felt a small tug on her sleeve. "Mer."
She looked down to see Foster who looked so small. "I'll go." Meredith hugged her and held her there for a little before Foster said goodnight and went to bed.
