That night Foster told Meredith she would go to therapy. This was something Foster really needed but was something incredibly hard to admit. She was so scared of speaking to others.

At least that's what everyone else thought. She was, partially. But she was mainly afraid of turning into her mother, which sounds worse than it is. Foster loves her mom with all her heart. She is,,,well was a great doctor back when she was able to practice. And most of the time she was an amazing mom.

But Foster realized how much she missed out on with her momma. Birthdays, other various holidays, middle school graduation, a stable home.

Now Foster wasn't sure if she wanted kids in the future or not, she never had been. But she promised herself that if she did she would never miss anything. She would always be there. And that was hard for her to think about considering she still doesn't have a stable parental relationship. And that's the whole reason Foster decided to try therapy.

That and she wanted her family to feel better. Her insomnia kept her awake as well, so she laid on her back listening to music all night long. She did fall asleep around four so she got two to three hours of sleep. Since she had school and even if she didn't she couldn't be home alone.

Later that afternoon the bell rung for the end of school to which Foster packed up her stuff and walked to the parking lot, she was never in much of a hurry. Cause what was she going to?

School was fine for Foster. She manages to get the work done, nobody is extremely rude on purpose, and she has a few peers. So honestly the only bad thing about it to her is the lack of freedom and sleep.

Foster walked to the hospital listening to her music and the cars passing by. This was a time of peace.

Once she arrived at the hospital she felt the energy of the chaos and smell of disinfectant which made her shiver. She didn't remember much of her hospital visit here two years ago but this still felt so familiar to her.

Of course she took the stairs up to the attending lounge area to avoid people and patients. Nobody was there to greet her which was the usual for Foster when she got home from school. Seconds later her phone went off.

Foster
Being forced to go to            the shrink today!
Mommy😘💊
Hey, don't say that!! They're helpful babe, they work with me too.
Foster
I know.

Foster sighed as she kept reading that last text or two in her head. "They're helpful babe, they work with me too." How helpful are they then? If you're still in rehab how good are they huh mom? Foster rolled her eyes and turned her notifications off and slid on her headphones.

Certain times Foster got angry with her mother and just in general, which is valid, but she tries to fix it with music as well as to avoid others. Since during these times if someone would try and speak to her after awhile she would just be overstimulated and pissed which made her say something she wouldn't normally.

She hit shuffle on a favorite playlist and laid her head back. Too many thoughts on her mind. I'm not about to relapse . She thought, which was a common thought in this mood. She's be clean since the night before Amelia went back to rehab. And stopped for the sole reason of coming to Seattle, knowing all these doctors around it would be easier for them to figure out, at least at first.

A little bit later Derek and Arizona come into the lounge. "Arizona is gonna take you to therapy then drop you off at home." Derek spoke, to which Foster just nodded. "Hey headphones, I want a response." He singled for her to take them off. With a slight huff and eye roll she did. "Don't start with this attitude. Be nice to Robbins." He said before leaving with a small slam of the door.
