Coreen's POV

Yeah. She likes my Khaleb. But my Khaleb loves me. And I love him more than anything else.

He's not really my ideal type of guy. But hey, you can form a perfect guy on your mind that you wish you can have, but once love strikes you, that perfect guy on your mind will be long gone before you know it. Then you'll find someone who's in front of you, way better than that made-up guy you have before.

She likes my Khaleb, yes. But I don't know why we ended up being the Best of Friends.

Maybe because she's same like me.

Goofing around. Have fun like there's no tomorrow. And she keeps up with my jokes. Although at times I find myself jealous of the things she kept on sharing with me about my Khaleb.

But to top it all, we are wearing the same shoes. (not the literal)

She can be trusted. She's very open-minded and same as me, down to earth.

She's the rich kid. Daughter of the Wealthiest Man in the country.

Others think of me as a gold digger for hanging around with her. But they're wrong. I didn't push myself to be her bestfriend. She did. After knowing that Khaleb's my boyfriend, she wants to get close to me. Nabaitan naman ako sa kaniya kaya naging magkaibigan kami.

She's generous, alright. But what do you expect? She's born with a silver spoon on her mouth. She has the money. And doesn't have any idea how to use it. And ended up generously buying things for herself and FOR ME. She has The looks. And everything most girls would wish to have.

But there's two things she doesn't have.

First, her parent's time for her as their only child. As a daughter of a sought-after business tycoon father and a prestigious model mother, she has limited time with them. Since they really move a lot. From one country to another, they travel it like it's just a few steps away. Allyzon's left with her Nanny, Tita Cecile.

And secondly, the attention of the one she likes. Yes. I'm referring to Khaleb. Khaleb knows that Allyzon likes him, but never ever dared to give a damn about it. I don't mind boasting around, but he loves me enough to entertain what others feel for him. Although he knows about what Allyzon feel, he still remained a friend to her.

Really, God wouldn't let us have it all. Allyzon almost had it all. Almost.

But you see, Allie's so nice to me. That no matter how hard I try to think she can steal my man, still, I see her as a bestfriend. We pledged forever to be the best of friends. And I'm willing to keep that.

"Hi!" Allie greeted happily and waved at me.

"Hi bessy." I greeted her back.

We did our handshake. Sign of friendship.

"Khaleb's with you earlier?" she asked.

"Yeah. Why?" I said without even looking at her because I'm busy putting my bag down on my desk.

"Nothing. Just that you two looks so ....... sweet." she smiled.

"Yeah. He's so sweet." I said dreamily.

"Yeah I know. Uhmm .. Hey! you wanna go to the mall later? I bet they have new things there." - aya ni Allie.

"Uhmm .. I don't know. Depends on Khaleb's plans for later. And plus, medyo out of budget ako ngayon eh." I grinned.

Totoo naman kasi. Next week pa kasi magpapadala ng pera sina Mommy. Tinitipid nga namin ang pera. Well, pasalamat nga kaming may trabaho si Kuya Clyde. He's a call center agent. Kaya palagi siyang tulog sa umaga. Para na nga siyang owl eh. Gising sa gabi, tulog sa umaga. Kaya minsan Kuya Kwago tawag ko sa kaniya. Tapos sasagot siya na, "Baka Kuya Gwapo." Natatawa na lang kami ni Kuya Cole. Si Kuya Cole naman, nagrereview para sa Nursing Licensure Exam. Kakagraduate lang niya eh.
