Gerda froze, clenching her eyes shut with frustration before reopening them. Her body slowly turned to face the one person she resented. She blinked several times, struggling to subdue her emotions. Her mind was in midst of regaining clarity but she nearly lost it the moment she spotted him smirking. She truly loathed him so much that it pained her to even look at him.
"I will NOT be flaunted around like an exotic captured animal. I'm not some type of prized possession nor am I your toy." Gerda hissed, scolding him while struggling to hold back insults.
"You speak as if you're given a choice...either you obediently come with me or I slowly break both your arms." Borra uncaringly scoffed with his eyes warning her.
Her body briefly stilled; overwhelmed by the situation she was currently in. She had no choice but to listen to him. For that she despised herself knowing she's giving him what he wanted. Unfortunately she had to give in and accept her loss.
Without another word she held her chin up and sauntered over to him with a fixed glare. His smirk returned full of arrogance and pride. That was all she managed to notice before he walked ahead down the three steps that surrounded the circle. From there they headed towards the door she had entered from. Her small frame struggled to keep up with his pace; with her legs already getting strained. She felt like a little tamed puppy chasing after it's owner.
Gerda grimaced when she noticed the edges of his wings dragging behind him on the floor. She wondered if his body ever felt sore from it. The fey's anatomy was both disturbing and a curiosity to her; especially how they managed to carry their own weight when flying. Perhaps she would learn a lot about them through him and Celtra. With luck, she might even learn their weaknesses but most specifically his.
The echoing swoosh of large doors averted her attention to her current circumstance. She followed behind him and felt a bit relieved when she spotted Celtra waiting in the main hall. Once they walked down the wide stairs Borra stopped to speak to Rayne. Only then did Gerda have enough time for a brief conversation with Celtra. She warily walked over and silently stood next to her while Borra conversed with Rayne.
"He wishes to humiliate me by forcing me to accompany him every single hour of the day." Gerda angrily whispered to her while eyeing Borra.
"Remember to refrain from angering him. As I said before, it would make your life easier here." Celtra whispered, insisting Gerda do the impossible.
"It's easy for you to say but that 'creature' is insufferable. He's arrogant and stubborn. I find myself losing control of my temper around him." Gerda silently hissed, feeling her hands ball up.
"Sounds a lot like somebody I know. I find that you two have more in common then you think. It would be rather interesting to see some sort of genuine acquaintance form between you both." Celtra admitted, only sparking disgust in Gerda.
"Please spare me your assumptions, I refuse to associate with someone like that. Even then it won't change the fact that I am his prisoner." Gerda angrily whispered back.
