They ended up at an open section of the hall giving her a precise view of all the attendees. Unfortunately, she was no longer concealed in the shadows. She was directly exposed by the glowing spheres above giving every passing fey a transparent view of her. Gerda frowned when she caught a glimpse of Percival and his men as they conveyed with other fey. She nearly grimaced when she noticed he was by Borra and Maleficent. Strike had headed over to the group shortly after Gerda's eyes found them.

"What you attempted to do to that guard was very dangerous and reckless. Borra would have you whipped had you succeeded in harming his guard, especially in front of so many guests." Celtra said as she handed Gerda a mug of water.

"I warned him to take his hands off me so I suppose he would've deserved a blade to the throat." Gerda hissed as she took a small sip of her water with her eyes observing the humans and fey who danced around.

"Have you gone mad? Borra would certainly have you severely punished if you did such an idiotic-" Celtra spoke with shock but Gerda sharply cut her off mid-sentence.

"I do not care what that beast does to me. I will not allow myself to be treated in such a manner by his people. I grow tired of it and would rather die than be humiliated in front of them." Gerda bluntly said with her eyes narrowing towards Percival and his men.

Celtra turned and lightly grabbed Gerda's arm to force her attention off the group with her expression once again serious. Gerda felt like a child who was waiting to be lectured only it did not anger her. She knew that it would indeed be an idiotic move to kill the guard. She would unquestionably be whipped to the bone or even worse. Killed.

"Listen to me very carefully. Do not let your anger overtake you because it will only result in your death." Celtra warned before letting go of Gerda's arm.

"Why do you keep trying to help me? Don't you despise me for what I have done to your people? Or perhaps you have your own hidden motives and need me alive." Gerda suspiciously whispered earning a look of disapproval from Celtra.

"I will admit that at first, I did hate you. I hated you so much that I prayed to the gods that Borra would dispose of you. Those feelings changed when I realized you were nothing more than another victim of the queen. She's the reason for all pain and suffering. It is unfair that she lives with her crimes being disregarded. We all lost loved ones because of her." Celtra admitted with sadness in her voice as her fingers fiddled with a ring on her left hand that caught Gerda's attention.

"Is that a ruby ring?" Gerda asked, noticing the gem as it glistened whenever it caught the light.

It was an odd possession for a fey creature to have since humans typically carried such jewelry.

"It's n-nothing, just an old gift from a friend. It appears Strike's human lover has taken notice of you." Celtra said diverting the subject.

Gerda instantly glanced toward the group with hostile eyes. Percival was indeed staring in her direction. He looked over to Borra and spoke to him before nodding his head towards Gerda's direction. She felt her heart accelerate when Borra turned to glance at her and Celtra. He nodded to Celtra before returning his attention to Percival who continued eyeing Gerda with a mocking gaze.
