They continued walking until they reached a building that resembled  some sort of tavern. Her body was out of breath by time they neared the entrance. She most certainly needed to work on endurance given how weak her body felt. Borra seemed to ignore her winded state as he strolled past her, not once pausing for her to catch up. Gerda rolled her eyes and followed him inside.

The tavern was quite simple with it's leaden stoned walls and floor that gave it a comforting vibe. Above them were floating candles that dimly lit the surrounding area. She noticed a large fireplace in the middle of the tavern that provided both warmth and more light. It was all too welcoming. She had the urge to sit down at the nearest table and drown in its warmth. On each side of the tavern were rows of tables and chairs. Many of them were occupied by both fey and humans as they indulged in either mead or food. Gerda felt her mouth water at the smell of whatever was currently cooking in the kitchen.

Without a word or glance Borra once again walked ahead to sit at a nearby table. Gerda felt herself become annoyed by his childish behavior. She wondered why he bothered bringing her along if he was going to act such a way. It was obvious her presence bothered him so perhaps he should've left her at his castle.

She sighed and walked to sit at the chair opposite of him, leaving her facing him. She folded her arms and proceeded to openly glare at him. Her mind circled back to his disturbing exchange with the perverted creature.

"Is there a particular reason why you're staring at me? Your presence has become a nuisance to me so I strongly advise you be wary of your actions." Borra hissed as his eyes met hers with a hard glint to them.

"You nearly sell me off like some common whore to that horrid creature yet have the audacity to call me a nuisance? Have you gone mad?" Gerda responded feeling her cheeks heat up with anger.

"My intentions were not set on selling you. I was simply curious of your worth and to my surprise you're highly valuable. Now enough with your pestering antics, I'm not in the mood for this." Borra roughly said as he continued glaring back at her with vexation.

Gerda studied him for a moment before taking a deep breath to calm her growing temper. She couldn't help but ponder over what the creature had said about her. A part of her was also curious about the mysterious package Borra grabbed.

"I have questions that need answers." Gerda calmly stated with a fixed composure.

"You are in no position to ask questions nor will you ever be so do not even waste your words." Borra callously pointed out as he stared at her with narrowed eyes.

"I need to know what that creature meant about my scent. What is so unique about it that he was willing to pay so much for me? He is not the first creature to acknowledge it and I need to know why. Celtra briefly explained it to me but I know she is withholding information." Gerda asked, eyeing Borra with hopes that he'd provide answers.
