Waking up at 8:30 was way harder than expected.

He had thought it would be okay, but he felt like he hadn't slept at all when he woke up. It was a half truth. He had woken up many times through out the night, because of nightmares he had. A common theme in those nightmares was James finding him and doing it again. He still hadn't processed what had happened.

He heard knocking at his door. "Wake up" the lady said from the other side. "I'm awake, madam!" Regulus said back. "Great. Breakfast is ready in fifteen minutes" the lady said and then walked downstairs. He sighed and sat up. The morning sunshine made the room look aesthetic. He stood up and walked to his closet to change his clothes. He ended up picking a t-shirt and shorts.

He walked downstairs and noticed, that the door to the shop was closed, but the door on his right was open. He walked in. The smell was fabolous. The kitchen had green theme and it looked old, like everything else in the building. A plate full of croissants was located on the counter, with yellow liquid in two glasses next to it. There was another plate, but this was filled with fruits and was located on the dining table at the corner. Next to the fridge was a door. It had been opened and it showed a beautiful French garden, which also could be seen through the windows.

"Good morning, the breakfast is set" the lady smiled and moved the croissants and the glasses to the dining table. Birds were singing outside, but the noices from the street could also be heard. Regulus walked to the dining table and sat down. He took the first one of the two glasses and one croissant. "Did you sleep well?" the lady asked and sat next to him. "To be honest, it was not the best sleep of my life. Nightmares kept me awake most of the night" Regulus said.

The lady hummed and took a croissant herself. Regulus took a bite out of his own and was amazed of the taste and texture. "This is the best croissant I have ever eaten" he praised. "Thank you, young man. I'm sorry, but I didn't get your name yesterday. What is it?" the lady asked. "Regulus Black" he said and took another bite.

"That's such a beautiful name. No wonder your parents choce that. My name is Marie Petit" she said. He hated the mention of his parents. "Do you have children?" Regulus asked and drank some of the liquid, what turned out to be orange juice. Marie looked sad. "Unfortunately not. I would have wanted some, but I guess I wasn't meant to have any" she said.

"That's a shame. I'm sure the kids would have turned out amazing, if they would have been raised by you" Regulus said. Marie smiled. "Thank you, honey. But you don't know me at all" she said. "I feel like I do. You are a great chef, like reading and want to bring books to others. Also gardening is your hobby" Regulus said and finished his croissant taking an apple from the other plate. Marie chuckled. "You have paid atenttion" she said and took another bite from her croissant.

"I like to be aware of things" Regulus replied. "The new books will come today at 16. Could you handle them, please?" she asked. "Of course." "Great. Today you will do that and put the new books to where they belong at the shop. I will be the cashier. You could also help the customers" Marie said. Regulus nodded mouth full of apple. "You can have breaks, but not too long" Marie said, "And if you are hungry, here are croissants, bread, juice, water, fruits and pasta salad."
