CHAPTER 027 : ANCIENT TEMPLE

It was a long day and Jungkook had been walking around the village with the granny accompanying him. The pack is actually quite big, he didn't know how far had he explore.

Jungkook look up at the sky, enjoying the breeze and the granny's accompany. As they were walking Jungkook suddenly felt like every strands of hair in his body got lift up as he suddenly halt his step.

The granny who notice the sudden stop, stop as well "Jungkook, what's wrong?" She asked as Jungkook look at the granny but he somehow turn his head to a direction inside the forest.

The granny follow his gaze but she didn't say anything "What's inside the forest?" He suddenly ask, he felt it, a presence. "It's the direction to the ancient temple." She said. "A temple? Who's temple?" He asked and turn to the granny.

"The ancient temple of the first male luna."

Jungkook stood at the balcony, it was late at night and Lisa is not back yet, it's not like he bother to search but he let out a sigh. Suddenly the conversation he had with the granny rang in his head

"This pack is the pack of the first male luna, it was 100 thousands years ago, and it was said that the blessing of the male luna are held there every time the new male luna is found."

"Why does it felt abandoned?"

"Because it had been so long since an Alpha Queen was born until Alpha Lisa came to the world. People don't go to the temple nor worship it anymore. So it was left and nobody visit it anymore..."

Jungkook huff, it was just an old temple why is it stuck in his head? He shake his head "I need some fresh air."

Jungkook walk not so far from the pack house, wearing his hoodie as he just walk around aimlessly. Oddly, where is everyone? He don't even see his sister and Junghwa is not is her room either.

The night was cold but Jungkook just walk and walk. After a few moments he stop and lift his head. Looking around, he find himself standing in the middle of the forest.

"What am I doing here?" He don't even realise since when did he walk into the forest? Jungkook look back and frown. How far have he walk? Everywhere look like the forest? How can everywhere look the same?

"Ah fuck." He curse and just play with his luck as he just went into any direction that he felt convincing. Cluelessly walking, he saw an end to the forest so he ran instantly "yes!" He said as he ran out from the forest.

He turn around, but frown upon seeing nothing but an old and big temple. Like a haunted house, he look at the temple "how am I here?" He thought to himself. It take him the entire day to even get near the forest that are directing to the temple.

How is he here in like... 5 minutes?

He look back into the forest and run back into the forest, five minutes later he appeared back in front of the temple. He run inside the forest again and five minutes later, he appear in front of the temple again.

"What the?" He look around the place before turning back to the temple. He frown and cross his arms. "What is this nonsense?" He whisper to himself as he look back into the forest, even if he try again, he will just appear here again.

Now there is a hint of curiosity in his eyes as he slowly approached the temple. He halt his step at the front door. The place look really... really old. How is this place is still standing?

Jungkook walk and cluelessly enter the temple. He cover his nose as he wipe of those web. He can tell, no one came here anymore. He can even feel the dust under his feet.

Walking he suddenly stood in a huge hall and there is a statue of a male in the middle of the hall. Jungkook tilt his head, the statue aren't that big but just a size of a normal human and behind the male statue there is huge statue of a wolf standing tall and proud.

Magnificent.

He had to admit that. He look around the place. Nothing interesting, it's quite dark and dusty. He turn back to the statue, the statue... look new? Jungkook took a step closer, wanting to have a closer look.

"How is this possible?" He whispered. There is not even a single peck of dust, not at all. Nothing. Jungkook squint his eyes and frown as he bring up his palm to touch the statue and the moment his fingers touch the statue.

His eyes suddenly turn fully white.

A male standing in front of the crowd.

Jungkook stood beside a river. The river are crystal like, flowing endlessly as cold breeze hit his skin. Jungkook stare at the water. It was like he decide to just stand there, staring at the water, no reflection.

"The heart of the male Lune flows like the river." Jungkook heard a male's voice making him glance to his left. "It was pure and the kindness is forever." There stood a male, wearing silk attire, his hair was silvery, long and pretty. As tall as Jungkook, but smaller by size, Jungkook is buffer.

The male was staring at the water. Jungkook have questions but as if he was in a dream, he can't bring himself to speak. "I am not you but we are the same person." The male said making Jungkook look back at the water.

There is reflection but it was long, directing to the other side of the river. Jungkook lift his gaze, only to see a pair of ocean blue eyes staring intensely and him. A huge white wolf, beautiful blue orbs, fur as white as snow, but very... very big. Maybe almost the same size of the Alpha Queen's wolf.

"The same."

The voice whisper again as this time he turn to Jungkook and Jungkook somehow turn to him as well. The male step closer and bring his delicate fingers. He hold Jungkook's shoulder.

"You are the last."

The male's voice was shaky. Scared and nervous. Tears in his eyes as he pulled Jungkook into a hug, Jungkook don't know, why? He felt... home. Like this where he was meant to be. Who he was meant to be. He close his eyes as the male whisper with a shaky voice.

"And the cursed."

Jungkook snap his eyes open as he back away instantly. He breath heavily as he realised how sweaty he had been. He hold his head, it hurts a lot. So much that he grunt and back away.

Unknowingly, a moon like symbol glow on his forehead as he hold his head. Just for a brief, as the glow fades away and the symbol disappeared but what shock Jungkook is the entire temple shook making him back away.

He look at the statue and widen his eyes upon seeing the statue turn into ashes and slowly disappeared. That is when the temple start to crumble, Jungkook immediately run for his life.

Running with all his might as some rocks starts to fall. The hall collapsed as soon he left but Jungkook keep running as the path he is running on start to collapse as well. He already see the line, he saw the end and...

Everything collapsed
