CHAPTER 35 : AREN'T YOU PLEASED?

18 YEARS AGO

The 3 years old Lisa looked at her mother who smiled softly at her. "Mommy? Why do you have to go?" The little girl look at her mother, her guts telling her that this would be the last time she'll meet her.

"For your well-being, Lisa." The gentle voice speaks as she brings the little child to her arms "I'm sorry darling... Mommy and Daddy failed to protect you." Being a child, Lisa didn't understand what they meant but the superior elder suddenly came.

"Your time is up, your punishment has come." She says as Lisa's mother slowly lets go of her daughter and stands up as her gaze turns cold in a second. She walks past the superior elder as the lady speaks "You should die in shame, for trying to hide the future Alpha Queen."

Lisa's mother glances at the superior elder "There is no shame when it comes to protecting my child, Mina" She says as the guards grab her and take her away. Seeing her mother being dragged away, little Lisa wants to run to her mother.

but Mina grabs the little girl.

"Mommy!" Little Lisa's eyes swelled with tears as she was restrained from going to her mother. How her world crumbled when the next moment she saw her mother, it was already cold. Covered with white sheets, the little girl knew... she was gone.

And the tears that she shed were the last ones in her life as the superior elder said...

"It was for the greater good."

Lisa flinched as she snapped her eyes open but the first thing that she saw was... Jungkook? She realized that she was lying on his lap, in their room on the sofa. "You're awake," Jungkook said as Lisa blinked and looked at him as she got off him immediately

"How did I get here?" Lisa whisper. She looked at the balcony, it was still night and the moon was still shining ever so brightly. "You got here by yourself." Jungkook said, raising his eyebrows "And I can feel you being sad and distressed, which I don't think you should be." He huffed.

Lisa's brows twitched as Jungkook stood up from the sofa "What was that supposed to mean?" She asked as Jungkook walked to the wardrobe "You get me, didn't you? Having a mate like you always wanted, so why are you sad?" Jungkook snickered

Lisa clenches her fist, he's different now, he acts like the first time they've met, ignorant. "I know I've made a mistake, I'm sorry." Lisa said but Jungkook just scoffed "Wolf and their apologies." He said bitterly, referring to her, Seokjin, and everyone else.

"Can't you be a little genuine with me?" Lisa finally asked. Jungkook took off his shirt, leaving him half naked "Am I not genuine right now? Very genuine I must say." He turns to her "Can't you see?" He smiled at her almost sinisterly.

Yeah, she saw it. He genuinely hates her. The thing that she feared in the first place "Have you ever genuinely tried to know me?" She asked as Jungkook walked to the mirror "Why does it matter now? I'm stuck here am I not?" He looked at the mark on his neck through the mirror.

"But maybe I am at fault." He chuckled bitterly and turned to her "Maybe I didn't treat you right, like how a mate should, did I?" He tilted his head as he stepped towards her. Lisa stood still, looking at him firmly as he caressed her cheek.

Even the mere touch he made felt forced "I'll be sure to treat you right now, Alpha." He suddenly wraps his arm around her, hugging her close to him but Lisa felt herself like a stone. Why can't she move at all?

He gently caressed her hair, and every touch he made, gave shock to her body, it was supposed to be pleasant but at the moment, it didn't! Lisa gulped as she felt him caressing her neck, moving down to her back.

"Aren't you pleased, Alpha?" He chuckled into her ears sending an unknown shiver down her spine, he pulled away and looked into her eyes, lifting her chin "Don't you like the sweetness?" He pulled her face close to him.

Lisa widen her eyes, No- she can't speak! Why?! What is going on?! "You will be pleased!" The way he said it, it does not sound like him! He suddenly smashed their lips together, giving a harsh and forced kiss to her.

She tried to pull away but the numbness and the harsh pull won't allow her. Lisa closed her eyes, calling out for her wolf to lend her some strength. Jungkook forces himself on her, it's true, she wants him but not in this way!

Helpless and paralyzed, Lisa felt suffocated when she suddenly widened her eyes in shock when she felt something flow into her through the kiss. The tension between them turns dark. Lisa felt herself freeze at the taste.

So dark, Cruel...

and deadly.

Her heart pumps faster, as her eyes glow bloody red. She felt her fingers move "S-Stop" She finally managed to speak up but Jungkook didn't budge as he kept kissing her forcefully "I said STOP" She growled as Jungkook suddenly pulled away and yelled in pain.

He stumbled back and grabbed his neck, where the mate mark was. He groaned in pain as the burning pain as he fell to his knees. Lisa took a step back from him as she immediately ran away after that, leaving the room. Lisa breathed heavily as she stumbled across the hallway.

She reaches out on the wall for support. Her eyes were wide as the red glow vanished. "What is that?" She asked herself. She held her chest, feeling her incredibly fast heartbeat, she looked at her palm and saw it was shaking. The dark force...

"What the hell is that?"
