CHAPTER 32 : WOULD YOU?

NO ONE P.O.V

Junghwa felt the sun hitting her skin as she slowly opened her eyes. Where am I? Am I in heaven? She remembered clearly about falling off that cliff. She looks around, and waits- this is not heaven.

She blinked her eyes and sat up as she felt a hand holding her shoulder "Be careful, Junghwa." She looks at the owner of the voice "Unnie." She mutter upon seeing Rose

"You're awake," Rose said softly. "W-what happened?" Junghwa felt her throat feeling sore as she spoke. Rose gives her some water "It's a long story." She said as Junghwa sipped on the water.

"An odd one indeed." Rose adds as Junghwa looks at her "Why? How did I survive such a fall?" Junghwa felt herself getting more clear "You don't. Someone saved you. Your brother saved you." Rose said.

"My brother?" Junghwa widened her eyes and immediately wanted to get off the bed but Rose stopped her "You need rest." She said, "But I need to see if my brother is fine!" Junghwa said but Rose kept her firm hold.

"He is fine."

Is he?

Lisa stood behind the bush of the garden. She peeks through it and watches over the tall figure who is sitting by the lake. His scent is indeed enticing but she could feel his distress.

What is he thinking?

Lisa heard Akira's voice but she remained silent as she didn't know what was in his head. His face was expressionless, almost empty as he had been silent since the incident.

How did he do all that?

Right... the incident was indeed quite... horrifying. Most of the rogue was shattered to pieces, and none was left behind except one but that rogue would have been dead if Lisa had not interfered.

When everything ends, Jungkook returns to his normal self and passes out with Junghwa in his arms as all of the vines move back into the forest and disappear. The rogue was treated in the pack house, the great news, is they got one hostage.

The bad news.

Jungkook won't talk. After lots of arguments and meetings, the elders conclude that Jungkook might have a bond with the wolf's soul and most likely it was the white wolf male Luna since he is Lisa's mate.

That is the only logical answer as to how can he magically control nature like that but the thing is, Lisa, can't even get close to the male. He is shutting people away including her, she feels dejected but she understands.

Maybe he doesn't want this.

She knows he doesn't. Watching the male, Lisa felt cold sitting there as she answered her wolf.

You know how.

Yeah, I know but if it is true, I should be able to feel the male Luna's wolf by now.

Akira is right. Despite not being in the same body, they are still sharing a bond. Rightfully, Akira was supposed to feel their mate as a whole but it seemed that she couldn't and that only meant one thing

He is not willing

Jungkook hugged himself as he just stared at the lake with the moon accompanying him. He sighs for the hundredth time.

Can't you just leave me alone?

He thought in his head as he glanced to his left seeing the white wolf sitting next to him.

Of course not.

Why?

Because I don't want to and because you're stuck with me.

How did that happen? Because I'm her mate?

They become silent as they look at each other and Jungkook scoffs as he looks away "Exactly." He mumbled as he felt the white wolf stood up and walk around him before sitting in front of him.

You're wrong.

Jungkook looks back at the white wolf in confusion.

What?

It's not because of her but it was because of fate.

The wolf looks down at him.

Even if you reject her or you never met her you will always be bound to me and you were meant to know sooner or later because that is fate.

The wolf leans towards Jungkook.

Your fate as the male Luna. Just like me.

I am nothing like you. Worse, I hate your species. I hate your supposed-to-be mate that brings me into this mess.

You are much like me because actions speak louder than words.

Silence surrounded them again.

If you don't care, you won't go to that extent while using my power just to save your sister. You used my ability to protect everyone.

I don't use you, you come by yourself.

The wolf stared at Jungkook and Jungkook swore if this wolf was a human, he would be smirking at him.

You're annoying.

The wolf chuckles.

She's here you know?

Jungkook sighs and look away.

I know...

But little did he know that Lisa is not the only one watching over him that night. A figure stood in the darkness of the forest, watching over the male Luna with a grin in the face.

Lisa felt herself getting sleepy while hiding behind the bushes as she was slowly falling asleep but she tried to stay awake even if her eyes kept falling. In the end, she slowly fell asleep before a noise woke her up.

"Huh?" She mumbled as she looked up as she looks around and saw nothing. She rubs her face as she looks back to where her mate is supposed to be.

She widened her eyes when she saw no one and immediately stood up from the bush. "Where is he?" She mumbles to herself.

"Who?"

She yelp as she jump off the bush and fell on her butt. She looked wince and looked up as she saw Jungkook looking down at her. Jungkook offers his hand "Are you okay Alpha?" He asked

Lisa who was confused slowly blinked and accepted his hand as he helped her stand up. "What are you doing here?" Lisa asked as Jungkook raised his eyebrows and smiled in amusement.

"What are you doing here?"

Lisa felt herself getting caught as she looked anywhere but at him "Um- ummm, watching the stars?" Her words come out like a question "In the bushes?" He asks then looks up "With this empty and dark sky?"

Lisa felt her cheeks getting hot as she cleared her throat "Who said I'm looking at those stars?" She said as she looked away. Jungkook chuckled at her words. Lisa cleared her throat again, keeping her domineer as the Alpha Queen

"We should head back, it's late." She commands and walks but Jungkook suddenly holds her palm making her freeze on the spot. "Alpha." He called out as he pulled her towards him. "The sky is nice today..."

"Would you walk with me?"
