CHAPTER 38 : TWO SOULS ONE BODY

NO ONE P.O.V

The pack luna stood in the garden, it was dark since it was nighttime, and the only light there was the moonlight accompanying her dreading silence. She fiddles with her fingers, a sigh of uneasiness. She felt threatened, by something, by... Jungkook.

She looks at her fingers as she places it on her lap. She had been silent since the morning, and when her mate asked, she said she was fine. Just shock but in reality, it wasn't just shock. Remembering that look, sends a shiver down her spine, as if the male Luna is not one of them. Well, technically he's not a human, but it's different.

It was as if she was not facing a human being. When he patted that girl, she met his gaze. It was dark and sinister. There was a thug on his lips, he was smirking. As if he is telling her to shut up, to not express her worries or she'll face a consequence she can't imagine. He didn't say that directly.

But it felt like he meant it

It scares her, the strength, the speed, the craziness. It was inhuman. Even she, a Luna, is not fast enough to catch the child. Is it because he is the male Luna? No... it was impossible for even a werewolf to be that fast, let alone a human who was only marked by a werewolf.

The luna felt goosebumps on her neck "Luna." She screams and jumps when someone suddenly calls for her. "Hey- it's me." The person said as he lifted both his hands, the luna stood straight and bowed "Oh my god, My lord! I'm sorry, I was- I was daydreaming." She apologized.

Jungkook blinked awkwardly as he scratched the back of his neck "Uh- it's okay, I was just confused when I saw you here so late at night." He said as the Luna nodded. Looking at him now, she doesn't feel the strange feeling she felt just now. Is it normal? If she was scared she should be scared too now.

But she didn't.

"Just wanted some air, my lord. What about you?" She asked, "Can't sleep." He shrugged. They stood there in a comfortable silence. "How's everything?" He suddenly asked, "I mean... the pack, the rogue- the... ceremony?" He continues.

The Luna tilts her head, he cares? "A lot had happened since the Alpha Queen found you, my lord. The rogues never had been this active." She said with a sigh "Is it because of me?" He asked. "No! It's- it's not because of you!" Luna panicked, she didn't want the male to be mistaken.

Jungkook chuckled "I get it. There are a lot of things about you guys that I don't know. Well... I never thought I'd be stuck with one." He shrugged and there was silence between them. However, the silence didn't last when the emergency siren suddenly went off.

Both Jungkook and the Luna turn towards the pack house. They glance at each other and understand immediately as they run back towards the pack house.

Lisa stumbled back as she remained on her feet, she growled, her eyes glowing red as she glared at the wolf that was going nuts in front of her. One of the Alpha wolves that was knocked out had caused a riot the moment it woke up.

The guards tried to stop it but failed as the wolf managed to escape. Lisa came into the scene and tried to stop the wolf but it was not working, the Alpha voice or anything. It was as if the wolf was not submitting to her yet it was whimpering and growling in pain.

Possessed?

Regardless of what it was, she needed to stop it first. She had commanded the emergency siren to go off and told the others to get everyone into safety. The wolf growls at her and the growl comes with a whimper, as if apologizing for being rude to her.

If it was her, one punch and she'd end the wolf but something in her guts told her that this wolf are not bad and is still her people. Lisa growled back as she kept the wolf distracted "Catch!" Jennie screams as she comes with a rope.

Throwing one end to her, Taehyung grabs the other end as they surround the wolf. The wolf jumps and pulls out its claws towards Lisa. On instinct, her eyes glow red and she clenches her fist. A hit went to the wolf's jaw and it was sent flying to a tree with a loud crash.

The tree even breaks and falls, Jimin who also watches the scene pushes his hair "He's probably dead." He muttered but unexpectedly the wolf still got up "Bro, how is he not dead?" Jimin said as if it was the most ridiculous thing he had seen for the night.

Lisa kept her stance as all of them stood in a ready position, prepared for any other attack. The wolf instead of looking exhausted, looked more feral as drool started dripping out from its mouth. Lisa went into her fighting stance

and when she thought a fight would break.

The wolf suddenly whimpers and backs away. Tail between its legs, ears lowered and bend down in fear, looking down as if something scare the shit out of it. Lisa turned around and saw Luna and Jungkook come to the scene.

"What's going on here?" Luna asks as she stares at the whimpering wolf, Jungkook standing beside her. Yet all of them were silent as they stared at the two then at the whimpering wolf who was backing to the corner and curling into a ball.

"The Alpha had turned to his human form, still unconscious, but overall, there is no other casualties." The Alpha said as Lisa nod, "good to hear that, have some rest." She said as the Alpha bow and leave.

When the luna was about to leave with her mate, Lisa call out "Can we... talk?" Lisa asked as the Luna nod "Of course, My Queen."

"What do you want to talk about?" The Luna asked as they walk by the lake "Do you have something to tell me?" Lisa asked making her frown "Tell you? About?" She asked

"My mate."

Her step halt at the word. "Ah... the male luna..." the Luna hesitated for a moment "I..." Lisa just smile at her and sigh "Just tell me, dear. I'm in a maze right now." She mutter.

Lisa had been thinking, for days... but nothing make sense, nothing add up. She marked him, forcefully of course but still... the mark was valid but she never come in contact with the male luna's wolf ever since.

She can't feel him, hear him or even... Lisa sigh as she felt a thug in her heart. She glance back at the Luna, she stopped walking making Lisa stopped too. "My Queen... have you ever have a strange feeling? Like... it was as if, something was there but it was not meant to be there..."

"It felt wrong."

Lisa was silent before asking "What do you mean?" She asked "that's what I'm feeling... about the male luna." She admit "When the fight broke, he was in charge but when he fought, the feeling came."

"It felt wrong... something is telling me to back away, to not interfere, to hide..." She admit, she clench her fist as she can still remember vividly about the feeling "are you saying that my mate are not meant here?" Lisa asked.

The luna however, shake her head "No..." she mutter turning towards the Alpha Queen "The male luna, is one of us but whatever did I saw..." she shook her head slowly "That is what not meant to be here."

"I feel, it was as if, Jeon Jungkook have two identity."
